Grayson seems to relax when I give him a small, tight smile and I can't help but notice that he seemed exhausted and stressed out. I get it though. It's not easy to run a business and not get stressed and tired from it. It's just nature.

"Hey." He replies letting a big breath out. Yeah, definitely stressed. "I know we have a meeting tomorrow but I um-" I play with my hands and look away from him. "I was wondering if you maybe wanted," I gain the courage to look back up at Grayson who was already staring at me.

"to go grab lunch." My hands clasp behind my back and I stare at a smiling Grayson. The idea seemed to make him happy. "Yeah sure, I was about to go grab lunch anyway." He states walking past me and out of the meeting room.

I follow him and take in my surroundings. The building was very modest and clean. The color was grey with glass walls for office privacy like mine, except this glass was blurred to make more privacy.

When we reach Grayson's office he grabs his keys and then we take the elevator down. When we are in the elevator I look as he pulls his phone out and texts someone. Not wanting to be a snitch I hug myself and look at a wall.

"How was your day?" He asks making me look back up at him. "Um, it was fine I guess," I answer making him nod. "You?" He raises his eyebrows and leans his head on the wall behind him. "Stressful."

"I can tell." That is all I say to earn myself a look from Grayson. "How?" he asks curiously. I smile and laugh. "You look tense." He was now looking at me with a form of aw. I guess he appreciated me noticing it. It does feel good when someone notices you struggling.

"Let's just say I've heard the same old topic all day and it only made me frustrated." The elevator doors open and we begin walking out Grayson's arm stays on the small of my back in order to lead me through the crowds of civilians outside. I can't help but tense under his touch. It makes me think back to last week when he zipped up my dress.

No Evelyn.

You went over this. This isn't something to be thinking about with him.

"Thank you." I thank Grayson as he holds the passenger side door open for me to get in. He sends me a small smile before shutting the door and getting into the driver's side himself. "What are you craving?"

You.

"Whatever you want is fine."

We pull up to a restaurant named Luna's and When Grayson parks he looks over at me. "It's Italian. Is that alright?" He asks as he pulls his seatbelt off. I give him a small nod and he exits the car. It doesn't take long before he walks around and opens my door and gives me a hand.
