"Well, if you must know. I had this dinner arranged with all of you here, to let you all know that it is my intention to court Ms. Riverdale" Anthony said making my fork drop back onto my plate.

The whole table fell dreadfully silent, all eyes were on the Viscount, while his eyes met mine. Neither of us dared to break eye contact with each other.
"Gregory, Hyacinth... you are both excused from the table" Says Lady Bridgerton
"But mama" Exclaimed Hyacinth
"Brother, do tell mother I am now of age to stay with the lot of you at the table" Says Gregory looking towards the Viscount
"Colin" Anthony began before Colin cuts him off
"It shall not be me, I will finish my dinner gracefully just as everyone else does" Colin cuts him off
"I shall do it" Says Daphne "Come along children"
"I will come along to help you" I smiled attempting to stand
"I forbid you dear friend, dinner has surely gotten quite interesting now" Eloise says looking at me with glee in her eyes
"Eloise!" Lady Bridgerton exclaimed
"Now now, dear friend I'm afraid miss Eloise stands correct" Says Lady Danbury now holding that same smirk from earlier, looking towards Lady Bridgerton
"Good luck" Daphne said giving me a soft smile before leaving
"So brother, how long have you had this scheme up your sleeve?" Snickers Eloise
"Eloise, if you keep this up I will end up laughing at your brothers cherry red face" I whispered to her making her laugh out loud
"Thanks for pointing that out" She giggled
"You have one more loud out burst like that and I shall send you to your room as well" Warned Lady Bridgerton
"Sorry" she said trying to refrain from laughing
"Brother, why do you look as if you're merely seconds away from collapsing?" Asks Benedict
"I-I uh" Anthony begins clearing his throat "I suppose I was a bit too forward" he mumbled
"Why ever would you make such an assumption Viscount Bridgerton?" I asked suppressing my sarcasm to no avail
"It appears that you don't take me quite serious" He answers standing up
"My Lord, I assure you... It would be a pleasure being courted by you" I smiled towards him
"Does this mean that you won't be waiting for me?" Gasps Benedict faking hurt
"See, It's not enough of her for the whole Bridgerton family!" Exclaims Francesca
"Permission to speak?" Asks Lady Danbury
"Please" Anthony says gesturing for her to speak
"Lord Bridgerton, I would like to be the first to say, it was a rather joyous feeling I held when I received your letter about courting Ms.Riverdale, but when did you find the time to take notice of my darling girl" She says hinting at something oblivious to everyone besides herself.
"We-well" I began before she interjected
"I asked Lord Bridgerton" She smirked briefly glancing at me
"Speaking with nothing but honesty, the first time I laid my eyes upon her, she struck me as one of the most fascinating beings I've ever laid my eyes upon" He answered looking directly in my eyes "And if you all haven't noticed her outstanding pearls always seems to catch my attention... it is why I would 'pester' her about them" He chuckled now looking at Lady D
"Have you and Anthony concentred before... alone Ms Riverdale?" Asks Mrs. Bridgerton
"Mother, w-" Anthony now attempted
"Not you Anthony" She replies never taking her gaze off of me
"Yes ma'am" I smiled politely
"Addison, you scandalous girl" Whispers Eloise
"I would love to explain, but it is not how it sounds... We first encountered when we had business of our own to attend a mutual place oblivious of whom the other person was at the time... That's the only time we were together alone" I half lied Lady Bridgerton
"So that's where the competitive banter between the two of you started?" Voices Benedict
I opened my mouth and closed it back. He was absolutely right and I was not about to tell him such.
"I am pleased that you both finally came to your senses" Says Lady Danbury and I noticed a nod from Lady Bridgerton
"What do you mean?" Questions Anthony
"Well, whenever the center of attention piques up at social events it's always either of you" She answered the Viscount
"And for some strange reason, despite my son's snarky remarks towards you, he always seems determined to be in your presences" Chirps Lady B
"I do not know if I am more impressed or infuriated" Says Lady D "You two really managed to pull off being with other people in public, yet could not be away from each other at the same time. But the fact that it did not bring about a scandal is really astounding"
"I indeed tried to stay away from Ms. Riverdale, but the more I have seen her with Sir Thomas, it aggravated me to a point where I had to claim what's mine before he did" Shrugged Anthony
"I'm proud of you Bridgerton" Says Simon
"Addison, is he really the brother you chose? Of all my brothers?" Scoffs Francesca playfully
"I must admit, I'm a little heart broken" Snickers Colin
"The four of us shall speak in private" Says Lady Bridgerton standing
"Well come along then"Says Eloise popping up out of her seat
"Wait... claim what's yours?" I questioned the Viscount with fake anger although it was oblivious to everyone at the table
"I guess we're doing this here" Eloise mumbled sitting down
"My intentions were pure when I said that, I-I really didn't intend for it to sound possessive" Rambles the Viscount
"No. You meant what you said and that is why you said it" I said now standing up "I would like an apology from you Viscount Bridgerton" I said before storming out of the room hoping that he would fall prey to my true intentions.
I paused for a moment listening to a few chairs scrape across the floor, as they all began to bicker. I really wanted to be alone at this moment to speak with Lord Bridgerton in private.
"Before you all run after the distressed lady, remember it is Anthony's mess. So it's only right he be the one to fix it" Interjects Simon
"I have not heard you used first title in a very long time Hastings" The Viscount retorted
"Go on then, find your bride to be" Simon said to him earning a few gasps as I began to take off once again down the hall
