Today is the day I return back to the 21st century and I shall admit before this morning, I thought I was making the right decision, but standing here in a room with the new family members that I have and reminiscing about the family I was born into... I'm torn. My heart belongs to two places and I can't help but to feel I'm making a very bad decision. I scanned the room for my dear husband who tried to keep himself busied with packing my things himself in the carriage. He is nowhere in sight. I made a plate of fruit and a cup of cold juice, then went in search of my husband. Standing in front of the vacant carriage, I sighed in defeat. 

"Looking for someone?" He whispered in my ear

"You my love" I said turning to face him 

"For me?" He asked pointing to the plate of fruit

"Yeah" I said handing the plate to him 

"Thank you my lady" He said placing a kiss on my forehead 

"I had to sneak away and bring this to you" I chuckled 

"I appreciate you so much" He said looking at me intently 

We held hands and he guided us towards the back garden. We walked around for about 10 minutes just talking and soaking up what could be the last of each other. 

"My back hurts like I'm carrying a soccer team in me" I frowned 

"Here, sit down my love" He said helping me on a garden bench. 

I stretched out and closed my eyes for a moment. A comfortable silence consumed us, until I broke it. 

"I choose you and only you, my love." I said looking at Anthony 

"W-what?"

"I know I have to go back home, but I promise you... I shall stay to myself until I return home, to you" I said looking up at him. "I know I keep saying this, but I want you to believe me. I'm not asking you to wait for me, but just know. You Viscount Anthony Bridgerton... you're my home"

"Everything will be fine my darling, I know you shall return to me" He said kissing my lips

"It's almost that time" I sighed 

"Are you strengthened enough to walk?" He asks in a concerned tone

"I am" I said leaning forward 

Anthony helped me up, and we made our way back into the house for me to say my final goodbyes once again.

We are 2 hours in on our journey to the caves and we have two more to go. My dear mother-in-law packed plenty of food and drinks. I ensured that Mr. Hargreaves, Anthony, Benedict, and Simon all were energized and hydrated along the way. 

"Addison, it is time to feed the baby" Calls out Anthony who is driving the carriage 

"Bridgerton, don't you think you should go inside with her? Mr. Hargreaves has it under control out here... the least you can do is spend the last few hours on the side of her" Simon said to him "Instead of calling out orders to her". A few seconds later I felt the carriage being slowed down and after a while it came to a complete stop.

Anthony opened the door and climbed in with me and shortly after we began moving again. 

"I miss you already" He sighed starring out the window 

"The feeling is mutual" I said looking over at him just as my stomach began talking 

"I told you it was feeding time" He smirks picking up the basket "What do you feel like eating?" He said looking inside the basket 

"I'm craving a huge bag of flamin hot cheetos" I sighed out loud "I am actually looking forward to returning home just for those" I say to him 

"What are flamin' hot cheetus?" he questioned 

"CheetOS!" I exclaimed "And they are my favorite snack, something we call chips" I said to him 

"I thought it was crackers and cheese topped with salami?" He asked handing me an already made one

"Thank you my love, this is second to my hot chips" I smiled savoring the snack 

"Well it has certainly became my favorite snack" He said munching away on one himself 

After two more of those, I just munched on fruit because this baby has my cravings shifting in the middle of my meals and it's frustrating. After washing down everything with water, I laid my head on Anthony's shoulder.

"Wake up darlin' were here" Says Anthony shaking my limp body 

"Where is here Anthony? I'm sleepy" 

"The caves my love" He answered 

Sighing I slowly opened my eyes to find his beautiful brown orbs staring into my soul. Without any words, we exited the carriage in peace. 

"You're finally awake" Benedict says aloud "I thought you would have been crying on the journey here, but instead I was greeted with your loud snoring" He said which resulted in me giving him the middle finger 

"Addison, you tell him girl" Chuckles Simon in a high pitched voice 

"He asked for it" I joked back 

We gathered our things which were not much. I had everything I needed in the backpack I came to this timeline with and a portrait of Anthony and I in a medium sized brief case. We entered the dark cave and began to walk for what seemed like 5 minutes before loud water noises were heard. 

Mr. Hargreaves made a sharp right turn and we all followed him. We were suddenly greeted with the most beautiful sight I had ever seen. Low and behold was a subterranean waterfall right before our eyes, and I stood there in awe for a moment.

"Well Addison girl, on the other side of that there waterfall shall be the timeline of our belonging" Says Mr. Hargreaves

For what could be the final time, I bid Benedict goodbye as well as Simon.

"Please, take care of my dear husband" I whispered to them both with filled eyes

"We will" they nodded simultaneously

"My love" I said looking at a strong faced Anthony "In the short time I spent here in the year 1814... majority of it was spent with you, now hopefully I get to come back here to you and start life a new" I said now cupping his face "In this lifetime or a next one, my heart will always have your name engraved upon it. I love you now, always, and forever" I state now crying

"I have something for you" he said fishing in his pocket, when he pulled his hand out, it held the little velvet bag my Melo pearls were in. He emptied it into his hands and out fell the pearls now in the forms of a necklace and a pair of earrings. I gasped at the sight.

"It is beautiful" I stated

"Not as beautiful as you my love" He says placing the necklace on my neck

He handed me the pair of earrings to which I took out my original pair and put the new ones in.

"My mother gifted me these, you know the sentimental value they hold. I shall return for them" I said placing the pair of earrings into my husband's hand.

"I love you, please return to me soon... I would love to meet this boy of ours that you're carrying rather soon" he whispered kissing my forehead

"I LOVE YOU MORE ANTHONY BRIDGERTON"

Without any further words, Mr. Hargreaves and I clutched onto our little belongings and without a doubt stepped into the waterfall....
