Miguel and Hawk rode their electric scooters to the dojo as Violet rode her skateboard alongside them. The two hadn't spoken about last night and figured it was better to leave things unsaid. They had a karate class today and they were excited since it was their first one since the tournament.

"All right. So I get my license next week. My mom's going to give me her Sentra. I'm thinking about putting a blue racing stripe down the middle, hood to tail." Hawk said and the two smiled

"Subtle, I like it."

"Looks like we got some new students." Violet said seeing the line of kids outside the dojo

"Fresh fish." Hawk smirked

"Check this out." He said and Violet knew what he was gonna do

"Don't." Miguel said but it was too late.

"He loves showing off"

"Hey, mouth-breathers, move it." Eli said and the two boys quickly moved

"Sorry about that."

"I'll get the door."

"So you guys wanna be Cobra Kais, huh?" Hawk asked and lunged forward pretending to punch them making them flinch

"You got a long road ahead of you." He said and the three walked in. They stopped when the saw the dojo was torn up and residue from fire still remained along with tape covering some mirrors.

"What the hell happened here?" Violet asked to no one in particular

"Looks like Sensei threw a party." Aisha shrugged

"Must've been pretty sick if fire got involved."

"Quiet!" Johnny yelled walking over making everyone go silent

"The dojo's closed to new students today."

"We just wanted to sign up after we saw the tournament." A kid said

"Do I need to say it again? Get out."

"Yes, sir. Sensei. Come on, let's go."

"Let's go, move it. Come back tomorrow. And bring your checkbooks. Everyone, fall in." He said and Violet stood in between Hawk and Miguel as usual.

"Must've been a rager, Sensei."

"Yeah, were you celebrating all weekend?" Miguel asked
