The Abomination looks around for a few seconds as everyone is looking back at the Abomination ready to either run or attack at a moments notice ,apart from Odalia who is looking un-fussed and nonchalantly walking to her office. But before she got the chance, she was interrupted by the sound of the Abominations' Thrusters as it is now full tilt flying towards Darius.
To your confusion and horror, Darius does nothing .You realise Darius has frozen in fear so you decide to pull out your blade and run in between Darius and the impending Abomination.
"THE ALARM! SLICE OFF THE ALARM!" you hear Alador yell.
"ALADOR DONT TELL THE BODYGUARD ITS WEAKNESS! IT WILL HURT OUR REPUTATION" Odalia screams from her office door.
You slice the Abomination perfectly and relieve it of its head .It turns to gloop so you Sheath our blade and turn to the now shaken covernhead.
"Are you okay sir?" you ask in a stern but Triumphant voice.
"Yes. Yes I am fine , thank you (Y/N)"
You get that weird feeling again and you begin to go red and quickly turn away.
*clears Throat* "ahem, so we best get someone to collect these abominations then" you state looking through a doorway at the warehouse full of the same Abominations.
"I'm afraid not. If they have the potential to catch me off guard, they can easily annihilate many civilians before scouts can bring them down" He proceeds to shred a contract which would allow the deal to finalise.
"we had a deal!" Odalia screeches looking at the shredded contract on the floor.
"That was until it tied to make an attempt on my life. if it wasn't for my amazing Bodyguard then my death would have been on your companies hands. And you would be forced to foreclosed"
Odalia storms back into her office and slams the door.
"I really must apologize covernhead Darius this wont happen again , and I also have to apologise for my wife's behaviour today" Alador says ,his head hung in shame.
"Its fine just make sure to fix this issue the next time I see you.I wouldnt want another of your lucrative deals falling through like today.
And with that you and Darius take your leave and are now outside.
"Time for my least favourite part of the day .The covernhead meeting"
