After hanging up the phone, I felt Striker glaring at me.
"What was that all about darling?"
"Just Blitz checking up on me" I lied. Hopefully he believed me. I started changing the subject. "So, how's H/N?" I wanted to start heading there as soon as possible.
"He's fine now, just a little scratch, nothing to serious"
Well, that was a relief to hear. I made my way towards the stable but suddenly felt a nudge behind me. I turned around to see H/N. I petted his snout while placing my forehead on his.
I could see Striker looking at us with a grin onhis face. Like always, when doesn't he? I just ignored it, I'm just glad tohave my H/N back. I saw my saddle in the distance with my reins as well. I wentover to them and grabbed them. I placed them on H/N. Once I did, I put my legin the stirrups and lifted myself up while swinging my other leg over.
"Thank you, Striker, for helping me but I best be leaving now"
"Why leaving so soon?" Shit, what lie can I come up with now! I've got it!
"Joe and Lin must be worried about me, and I have work to do there as well" It was my day off luckily, but he didn't need to know that.
"I can ride with you on the way back- "Before he could say anything else, I interrupted him.
"Um-no, no-that's okay" Well done Y/N, that doesn't make it look suspicious at all.
"Whatever you say Lil 'lady"
Thank goodness. I turned H/N and galloped through the dessert, on my way to I.M.P. But on my way, there I couldn't help but feel like there was someone following me again. Might just be me overthinking about yesterday.
Time Skip: A few hours later~
It had been a few hours to get there but I finally waited. I walked on the road looking for a place to tie H/N somewhere. I saw a small post, so I tied H/N there. I gave him a quick pet before entering the building. It was quite while I was walking through the hallway. "The place didn't change at all". Everything was the same.
I had finally reached Blitz office. Before entering I made sure everyone was there, I wanted to surprise them. Since everyone was there, I quickly opened the door and shouted. "I'm back!~"
Everyone turned their heads towards me, and they all ran to me, pulling me in a very tight group hug. After suffocating me, they finally let go and we all sat at the table. Discussing how we was planning to track down Striker and kill him.
