the valet took charles' car as juliet picked up the bags left on the ground. charles led juliet out to the dock, where she finally saw his boat.

she looked at the large white ship and her eyes grew wide, in complete astonishment he even owned this. "this is yours?"

"yeah, the team is starting a riva yacht partnership, so now seb and i have access to them. it's beautiful, isn't it?" charles explained.

"it's gorgeous," she looked up at it and charles walked closer to her, wrapping his arm around her back. "can we get on yet?"

"yes, after you," he helped her on and they got settled. juliet left charles to start the engine on the top deck while she went to look around it.

she walked down the stairs on the back deck to find the indoor living room and kitchen, as well as two bedrooms. trekking up the staircase back to the front desk, she smiled as she saw champagne, a large charcuterie board, and other platters of food displayed on the table.

charles soon emerged from behind the wheel and saw her slowly reach the top of the stairs. "did you do all this?" juliet asked him.

"yeah," he sheepishly grinned, grabbing her hand and walking her to the table. she sat down on the couch, watching as he picked up the bottle of champagne and popped it open.

he poured out two glasses and handed one to her. she took a sip of it before placing it back down on the counter. the boy sat beside her, taking his own sip and placing his glass down.

juliet reached her hands out to grab some of the food charles had prepared. "mm...this stuff is so good, you made it?" she asked, licking the extra sauce off her finger.

"uh..." he mumbled, trying to lie but knowing he'd been caught, "yeah..."

"don't lie to me, leclerc," juliet smiled sarcastically. his cheeks flushed pink as he started laughing, picking up some of the food.

"wow, it is good!"

the two broke into a fit of laughter, juliet falling onto his chest as he threw his head back.

juliet sighed as the giggles stopped, leaning her arm against the couch as she saw charles looking at her. she slouched into the couch, glancing up at him. "y'know...i'm happy you brought me here. i've never been on a yacht," juliet quietly said.

"non?" charles asked, and she nodded her head in denial. "hmm. well i'm glad i brought you on your first."

"yeah...today's gonna be amazing," she sighed and glanced around, suddenly noticing her surroundings. they were in the middle of the water; where nobody could see them. not pierre, not victoria, not the media. it was just them.

"how did you like the university of monaco?" the boy asked, drinking his champagne.

"it was actually very nice," juliet explained, naturally fidgeting with her necklace, "it's looking like one of my top schools to go to."

"oui?" charles asked, shocked. juliet? in monaco? all the time? sounded like heaven.

"mhmm, i've got a few reasons to stay around," she cheekily smiled, hoping he'd catch on.

and he did. his cheeks flushed a light pink that the gasly quickly noticed, and she leaned in towards him and planted a soft kiss on his lips. he sat up, their lips still together, as he softly grabbed her cheeks and held her head close.

he couldn't believe he could just do this now.

"mmm...you're a good kisser, mon ange," charles mumbled out as their lips parted, juliet immediately exploding inside at the nickname.

"really? i don't think i've had much practice," she grinned. "i've only kissed like three guys."

"not one for relationships?"

"i am, but i just can't seem to start them. i think that i can like a guy forever and speak to him once, and one day he'll suddenly fall in love with me," she explained, "i'm too scared to let someone know how i feel so i stay silent, and hope that they somehow catch on."

with charles, she'd finally broken from that. it was with him that her emotions just poured out. and she didn't know why.

they sat on the couch together and made a bit of small talk while finishing the food. juliet was the first to stand up, reaching over her head to take off her shirt and revealing a bikini.

"c'mon, let's jump in!" she exclaimed quietly, taking off her shorts. charles sprung up quickly from the couch, slipping off his shirt.

juliet walked down the stairs to the boat's lowest dock, standing as the boy followed her. she turned her head to see what was taking so long, and she found him just looking at her.

"what?" she chuckled, fixing her bathing suit.

"you're just the most beautiful thing i've ever seen, juliet gasly."
