I hate this new update so fucking much!!!

I can't read comments, it refuses to save the spot that I left off on in a book, and it keeps crashing all because of a stupid bug that they're most likely not going to fix!!

Should I just put my books on inkitt or something? (You'll still be able to access them on Wattpad and they will be regularly updated)

Gillian's POV

I am in the midst of finishing my advanced chemistry homework at one of the tables in the commons when the sound of a cheery voice interrupts me.

Glancing up, I realize that I am being approached by a bubbly brunette.

"Soooo?" She trails off, holding out a large latte cup in my direction.

I place my black ballpoint pen down in the center crease of my chemistry textbook before reaching out and accepting said latte cup.

"Soooo?" I mimic her as I bring the cup up to my lips.

Moon rolls her eyes at me, taking a seat in the bench across from me in the same booth.

"Don't play dumb with me." She warns jokingly.

"What happened between you and Courtney last Friday?" She asks the question that I have been dreading all week.

By some odd miracle, I was able to avoid Moon all week and therefore avoid answering this particular question.

"Nothing." I lie with a shrug.

In an attempt to avoid looking into her eyes, I place my cup of coffee down on the table that we are sat at and pick my pen up once more with my gaze focused solely on the textbook in front of me.

"Really? So you don't know anything about Courtney and Noel suddenly getting back together after the shit show they called a break up?"

"Nope."

This is not completely a lie.

I only realized that Courtney and Noel were back together about two days ago when rumors about the subject began to spread around the school like a wildfire.

At first I did not believe these rumors, however, when I saw the two making out with each other during lunch I came to the conclusion that these rumors were more than likely true.

"Are you sure?"

"Yes, Moon!" I stress, looking up at the brown-haired girl.

The skeptical girl slowly nods her head whilst staring into my wide eyes.

"So, if I were to tell you that the two of them are making their way into the commons right now, what would be your reaction?" She asks.

At this sudden question, I glance to the adjoining hallway that leads into said commons area only to have my eyes meet the couple who's names have been on everyone's lips for the last two days.

Noel has a prideful look on his face, his arm lazily thrown over Courtney's shoulders as he scans the large room. Courtney on the other hand appears bored, her arms crossed in front of her chest as she scans the room as well.

Boredom soon turns to longing when those familiar sapphire irises meet my obvious gaze.

The two of our breaths hitch knowingly the second that our eyes connect with one another's. Upon seeing her, I am mentally bombarded by flashbacks of the events that took place a mere seven days earlier.
