Madison Ember Thompson
A name that many adore, fear, or envy. There was no in between. Until she met him. He hated her just as much as she hated him, but he would kill for her, die for her, and destroy everything. . just f...
I sing along to my playlist as Into it by Chase Atlantic plays. I near the lot and pull into the parking lot space reserved for me and make it to my dressing room with no problems. I had three looks for the runway, one as the opening, in between, and one at the ending. With no time to waste I put on my robe and let the makeup artists work their magic.
I changed into the first look which a black suit look with a matching set underneath that pops out.

I close my eyes as I near the entrance of the runway as the song ...Ready for It? blasts the speakers. Keeping my face neutral I make it down the runway before walking out and going in the dressing room, changing, and then entering again. I repeated this process two times before making it to the closing look.
I was dressed in a leather top and skirt combo with high boots this time. The leather sticking to me like a second skin. I made it onto the runway and looked at the audience as I continued my walk. Chills ran through me as my eyes made contact with him.
There right in the front row audience was Damon Torrance staring right at me. I couldn't ruin my neutral face by expressing my true emotions and continued my walk, exiting the runway. I stayed by the corner waiting for the other models to come so we could do our closing walk. My mind swarmed with reasons to why he would be here. Why did he come?
I jump as I hand touchs my shoulder and turn around with wide eyes.
"Hey it's just me. You okay?" One of the models said to me with a concerned expression.
"Yea, just got lost in my head a little." I said while faking a smile.
I followed my cue and walk back on the runway smiling and waving. I stopped waving as my eyes found Damons in the audience. Micheal, Will, and Kai were with him. I mean obviously they never go anywhere alone. I continued waving as I went and saw Damon smirk and wave back to me as my eyes met his once more.
Rushing into my changing room I quickly go behind the divider and change back into my sweater and jeans before coming out.
I adjust my sweater sleeves and gasp when I walk into a wall. Only the wall catches me before I fall.
I look up and immediately try to step back, only I can't because the wall has a firm grip on my arms.
"Damon. Wha-What are you doing here." I say struggling with his grip on my arms.
"Why little Ember, you didn't miss me?" He says not moving.
"Don't call me that." I say as the nickname brings up old memories. "You can't be here this is a private changing room."
"Who's gonna stop me? Hm. You?" He says with a smirk on his face.
"What are you doing here? At my show?" I say, while wanting to wipe the smirk off his face.
"I must say I was right." He says ignoring my question.
"Right? About what?" I say in confusion while letting my arms fall limp into his hold.
He leans down and looks into my eyes before whispering in my ear, "You look ravishing in red."
I try not to let his words effect me but I can't fight back the blush that appears on my face.
"Stop playing games Damon." I say
"Who says I'm playing a game?" He says with a sequin smile before his eyes go cold and his grip on me tightens, "Besides you started this. You wanted to play with the boys Ember."
"Stop calling me that!" I say loudly while he only smirks in response.
Our staring contest gets cut off with a knock on the door.
"Madison are you okay in there? I heard a shout." An employee calls out.
Before I can say anything Damons hands cover my mouth as he shoves me against the wall. His stare threatening as he sends a silent message to me with his eyes. A threat. I nod my head slowly before he lets go and nods at me.
"Yea, sorry I thought I saw a spider. I'm good, you can go. Have a great night!" I call out as she responds. I stay silent as I hear her footsteps disappear.
I close my eyes as my head starts to hurt.
"Good girl." I jolt, my eyes opening as I hear his voice forgetting he was there.
I turn around to face him again and rub my head tiredly. I've been here for hours practicing and getting ready and the bloody breakfast gift didn't help my morning.
"What do you want?"
"I think you know." He said stepping closer to me. With each step he took forwards I took one back. "Relax I'm leaving, for now." He says before stepping away. He reaches the door and looks back once before leaving.
I heard his footsteps disappear and sink into the chair and rub my head. My head was swarming with thoughts that were consuming me whole.
I open my eyes as I hear a crash and see that the lights are off in my room. In confusion I grab my bag and clutch my keys in my hand as I make my way to the door.
With sweaty palms and shaking hands I turn the door knob.
Nothing. No one is there. I enter into the hallway and look around the pitch black hallway. It was only 20 minutes after the crew left but the lights were usually on for cleaning. I shine my phones flashlight and look for the cause of the crash. I almost drop my phone as it starts ringing and look at the caller ID, sighing in relief when I see its Rika.
I answer the phone while searching and say, "Hey Rika, whats up."
"Nothing, I just saw the videos of you on the runway today. You looked amazing!"
"Thanks."
"Like the look and your walk was so good-"
"Thanks, but hey can I call you back later I have to find something."
"Yeah okay, bye."
"Bye."
I hang up the phone and continue walking around the runway area when I hear a crash and my phone rings at the same time. Thinking it was Rika again I answer without looking.
"Hey Rika I told you I would call you later."
"Rika huh, too bad I'm not her." The deep, edited voice says.
My blood runs cold as I gasp, "Who are you? What do you want?"
"Ah, So many questions. Hmm, why don't I ask you one." The voice pauses before saying, "Are you alone?"
"I don't know, why don't you tell me! You creepy fuck! Are you here with me?"
"Ah, such crude language. I'd watch that tone."
"Crude, you don't know the half of it. Leave me alone." I end the call and shriek when I hear a crunching sound underneath my feet only to see that one of the lights had fallen out. I step back as a heavy overhead light comes crashing down. I fall to the floor to cover myself as glass spreads everywhere.
I gulp and get up as my phone rings. I look down to see a message.
See how easy it is for me to end you. Might want to watch your steps.
I quickly grab my bag and make my way out of the building, not looking back as it gets smaller and smaller, but the unsettling feeling in my stomach grows.
