chapter fifty: graphium agamemnon
Y/N'S P.O.V.
The second you see Kenma and Hinata approach the truck, you jump up in your seat. A big smile grows across your lips when you see his face. You feel absolutely relieved knowing that he is okay. Admittedly, you were a bit worried about him alone without you or Kuroo around.
When the two of them get into the back of the trunk, they don't say much. Oikawa drives off and you're a bit unsure of what to do. You want to ask Kenma how he's doing and what's going on in the camp, but seeing how quiet he is tells you that he might not be ready to talk.
It's not until you get back to Hinata's house that Kenma finally asks you to explain everything. You start with the day you left- when Atsumu died- and end with meeting Hinata and coming up with the plan. However, you do leave the whole kissing Oikawa part out of the explanation for simplicity reasons.
"Okay, so then what's the plan now? I packed up all my shit so I can't really go back," he responds.
"Um, well, I don't know. Oikawa just told me to get you and then-"
"So you didn't think this through, did you?" Kenma grumbles.
"Look, I came a long way from what I was thinking when I first found out earlier today so I think step one to our plan was pretty successful if I do say so myself," you proudly tell him, unpurposefully causing Oikawa to agree with you and wrap his arm around your waist. Kenma notices the small gesture and looks a bit confused, but doesn't say anything.
"Yeahhh, so all you've done is get me in trouble, too. I mean, like I said, I can't go back," Kenma reminds you for the second time.
"That's not necessarily true," Hinata chimes in. "If we bring you back early in the morning nobody will know you've left. I doubt they're going around looking for you this late at night, right?"
"I suppose that's true," he begrudgingly agrees.
"Then if Kenma can get back to the camp, our next step should be informing the others. Osamu, Lev, Alisa, Yachi..." you think aloud, trying to come up with the next part of your plan.
"Y/N, um, Lev, Alisa, and Yachi all left. They were too scared to stick around anymore. I would've gone with them if I didn't think I'd hear from you again," Kenma explains to you.
"So then it's just you, Osamu, and Bokuto staying there?" you ask him.
"Not quite. This other guy, Suna, came yesterday claiming he knew you. The three of us weren't sure of what to do with him but we let him stick around for now."
"Suna?!" you repeat as your eyes widen. Oikawa pulls his arm away from your hip as he watches your interesting reaction. "Really? Suna's there, too?"
"Yeah, so he was telling the truth? You two know each other?" Kenma asks.
