You tossed and turned in your bed somehow even underground you could hear the booming thunder outside...or maybe it was in your head. You couldn't sleep not after what had happened only a few hours ago, so much had been put on you while you couldn't even remember yourself. You wrapped your arms around yourself hoping for some comfort, you laid on your side slowly curling up in a ball as your blanket had been discarded to the floor nearby. You almost wished Elias would knock on your door again and ask to sleep in the same bed as you. You just wanted to be comforted you just wanted to remember who you were, why was it so hard? Why wasn't there something that could just tell you who you were? This place was full of anomalous things, why isn't any of it able to help you. You looked to the wall with teary eyes you began to remember something...

You appeared at Icebergs door again, you needed a friend who'd understand. This was all before you and Elias began to date, you were still new to the place your only friends being Iceberg and Lavender. You knocked on his door hesitating for a moment, you almost wanted to turn away and run back to your room. He'd never know you were here, he'd just think it was Clef or something. Just as you were about to turn away the door opened, there he stood looking down at you. He was wearing a sweater and sweatpants while a blanket was around him, he looked down at you with that nonchalant expression of his. "hey Ice..I'm sorry I just-" He moved out the way to let you in "come on." You quickly walked in and sat on his couch "I'm scared Ice..I don't think this job was meant for me." You said as you shook your head. He let the door close automatically as he walked over to you and sat down next to you "this job wasn't meant for anybody Y/n." You nodded almost wanting to lean on him but you remembered his ability. You held your head in your hands as you felt a cold hand on your back, you jumped a bit at the cold touch as Iceberg spoke "you'll get the hang of it Y/n."

The automatic lights finally turned on as you woke up hardly feeling as if you slept, was what you saw a dream? Did you pass out during your small break down? You got up walking over to the closet and doing your usual morning routine, the routine that copied itself every day for the past three weeks. Three weeks it had been a month already and you couldn't even remember who you were. You had been here fully for a few months the first months you were in that cell only being called Y/n, and now you were Dr. L/n. You walked out of your room watching some other doctors who were walking out of their room's. Paperwork in hand waving hi to their 'neighbors'. You ignored them walking down the hall to the break room, maybe Lavender would help? Would she even understand? You didn't know but you couldn't go to really anyone else to talk without feeling weird about it. Luckily for you Dr. Lavender was alone, walking in you patted her shoulder as she looked up at you from her seat "need to talk?" She asked looking at you. You nodded as she took one final sip from her coffee and followed you out hands in her pockets.

You both made your way to your quarters, she took a seat on your couch as you spoke "I don't feel right here Lavender.." She nodded "as in? Sorry Y/n but you're gonn-" You interrupted her "I need to leave Lav...I need time to..to..I don't know.." She slowly nodded then whispered "are you asking me to break you out?" You shook your head "no no I just...Lav is there anyway I can just go outside without someone?" Dr. Lavender sighed "no. Not while you're like this." You looked down solemnly "But I can...Propose something." You waited for what she was about to say as she straightened herself up as she spoke again "I can go with you, get you an apartment for uh..shit what was the minimum again?" She questioned herself thinking before answering "three days. You can stay by yourself in the apartment while I stay next to yours and run some errands." You smiled "yes! Please that's all I want!" You said grabbing her as she jumped back "whoa whoa okay chill girlie- C'mon let's get the thing filed in we'll just tell a lil white lie." You looked at her "like what?" She shrugged "uhh you're going with me to get some anomalous thing we heard about" you arched an eyebrow "but we don't have an anomalous item to bring back." Lavender shrugged "don't worry I know what to do kid, you just go get packed alright?" She said walking out of your door, as the door closed you smiled 'finally time to myself' you couldn't wait.
