The next day things seemed..Normal, after the day you two spent together. But Elias was gone, you grumbled to yourself knowing it was too good to be true that he'd still be here. You held your head sighing before getting ready, you weren't ready for the cold shoulder or the distantness he gave you that day. You felt like shit, why did he always do this to you? Why did he always inch towards you just to back away six feet once you felt something? Maybe this was all some game to him, maybe he was just an ass. If he was gonna be an ass then fine you'd be an ass to. You walked back into the office seeing Elias once again ignoring you, a complete 180 from how he had been treating you. You dropped your bag making sure it made some sort of noise to alert him that you were here. He looked over but didn't say anything, you began to work the only sound being the typing of your computer and the squeak of Elias's chair as he twirled around. You sighed "can you stop that." You said looking at him, he stopped looking over at you. The two of you just seemed to stare at each other before Elias looked at the files at his desk. Soon enough the silence became too much "why do you do this." You said aloud not even looking at him, after a pause he answered "what?" You looked at him "don't play dumb. Why are you ignoring me? Why do you keep pushing me away once we make progress?" He narrowed his eyes at you "you wouldn't understand." He said as you scoffed "bullshit I wouldn't! I watched you have a fucking break down on me and you think I wouldn't understand?! Really?!" The two of you began to bicker back and forth "you wouldn't understand because you're not Y/n. You're not them. You've forgotten every-fucking-thing." You stood up "you think I don't know that?! You think I want to forever forget my life?! Tell me my life Elias! Tell me what I should already know!" Elias slammed his hands down on his desk "shut the fuck up!" The venom in his voice made you go quiet. You both starred at each other until you turned and walked away. "Y/n!" He called after you but you still left. You were tired, so fucking tired.
You returned to your dorm putting in a vacation day, you just wanted to sleep and forget this fight. For the first time you wanted to actually forget something, you plopped on your bed still in your uniform. You stared at the wall trying your hardest to remember something, anything but you couldn't. Eventually you decided it best to just sleep, the perfect escape right?
You awoke to the sound of sirens and someone shaking you awake "Y/n! Wake up! And please tell me you've seen Elias in the last three hours." You sat up confused shaking your head while you rubbed the sleep out of your eyes "no he had a meeting today with Dr. Gears I th-" Lavender grabbed your arms "he doesn't HAVE a meeting today. What did you two do last night did he like say anything?!" Lavender shook you a bit as you answered "n-no! We just watched a movie!" Lavender spoke "what movie?!" She finally stopped shaking you as you answered "black beauty?" Lavenders eyes went wide "oh my god that's why he made that stupid 'joke' fuck fuck fuck!" Lavender ran down the hall and you followed her not caring about your lack of professional clothing, you spoke "Lavender what the hell is going on?!" Lavender spoke still running "Elias made a joke to Dr. Gears about wanting to 'tame' 682 but Gears doesn't think it's a joke at all. Plus now some stuff is missing along with Elias! That dumbass was being serious!" You thought back to the night before remembering the movie was indeed about a person trying to tame an 'impossible' horse and how Elias left rather quickly. "shouldn't MTF be dealing with this?" Lavender laughed "oh they are! Everyone's practically looking for Elias hoping they can find him before he does something dumb, and I got assigned to ask you. Now we're heading to 682s co-" Just as 682s containment door was visible the ground started to shake as you heard the word "DISGUSTING" Lavender froze cursing before she grabbed your arm and dragged you into another containment cell.
You heard a scoff as you looked around the room until you finally noticed the frowning mask, did that thing speak? Before you could wonder more on the subject the mask spoke as Lavender pressed the breach alarm "so the peasant ran to my room for safety how ironic." Lavender looked at the mask "I don't have time for you so kindly shut the fuck up before I-" Lavender was interrupted by the sound of a wall breaking and a vicious roar loud enough to make your head hurt. You held your head as the sound of bullets started sounding the hallway, Lavender grabbed you dragging you to the far wall "we really need to implement emergency escapes through every room damnit." As the sound of the large beast seemed to drift away Lavender ran and opened the door signaling for you to follow, you followed her out gasping at the sight of all the bodies littered within the hallway. Lavender grumbled some curses making her way to 682s containment room to find Elias's body headless and his necklace not too far away. Lavender picked it up "don't worry it doesn't affect us, for some reason it doesn't affect the already immortal" she said before realizing what she had said she looked at you "shit uh Y/n-" You sighed "Clef already told me" Lavender frowned "damnit I wanted to be the one that told ya, oh well come on let's go find a host for Elias" you heard her mumble after "the little parasite" as she walked down the hallway with you following.
The hallways were littered with bodies and blood luckily you and Lavender didn't notice anyone within the bodies "here Y/n hold this" she tossed Elias's necklace to you, as you held it you watched Lavender walk over to a body before grabbing the gun nearby them "we'll need it just in case and I can't hold Elias while also shooting" you nodded holding the necklace in your hand as you both continued to walk, for some odd reason the necklace felt...Warm? In your hand even though by now it should be cold strange. You then realized something speaking "uh why are we needing a gun to fight? We're immortal right he can't do anything to us?" Lavender sighed "okay I guess Clef didn't tell ya that part butttt, if we get injured mainly you and me, we literally have to watch our limbs grow back. 682 will NOT hesitate to rip you in half or rip your head off, last time that happened to me I was stuck in medical for a literal year waiting for my damn head to grow back." You felt yourself go pale at that idea "has that happened to me before?" Lavender nodded "once but you ended up getting ripped in half, took ya about the same amount of time to heal." You shivered at the amount of pain you probably went through as you felt the necklace warm up a bit more, you looked at it confused 'can It sense I'm upset?' You questioned yourself before Lavender stopped walking. Putting a finger up to her lip you nodded as you heard footsteps running, just as you saw the person Lavender used the butt of the gun to knock them down. Quickly grabbing the necklace she got on top of the person and forced it on them, nothing happened for a moment before you heard some coughing and the body begin to sit up looking up at you two "uh..hii" Lavender yanked him up. He stood up still having his arm held by Lavender, just as he was about to speak the empty-ish hallway sounded with a 'SLAP' sound. Elias fell back clutching his face "owww Lav what the hell?!" She grabbed Elias's collar "are you fucking insane?! Tame 682?! Jesus Christ Elias if you're fucking bored torture a D-class or something!" She made Elias stand up again as you just watched the small argument happening before you "now 682 is roaming who knows where! The 05 isn't gonna be peachy about this Elias!" Elias shrugged "c'monn what's the worst they can do?" Lavender narrowed her eyes at the man with a 'are you serious' look before speaking "force you to stay in that damn necklace for who knows how long?!" Elias nodded "ah right true they've yet to do that though soooo."

The breach alarm finally shut off as you, Elias and Lavender stayed in an empty meeting room just waiting. You felt nervousness rise in your chest wondering if something was gonna happen to you to if they decide to 'punish' Jack. As you three left the room the speaker turned on "DR. SHAW TO THE 05 MEETING ROOM NOW" the voice sounded well angry as one would expect, Elias sighed before walking off and waving bye to you and Lavender. As he finally disappeared Lavender spoke "come on let's go get some comfort food." She said leading you to the cafeteria as you followed, as you two got there only now did you notice the lack of Clef all day "hey Lav where's Clef at?" She looked at you grabbed her tray "oh he went back to site-17 he was only here for a project that got finished during the little vaca we took." You nodded as you grabbed your tray and followed Lavender to an empty table "what's site-17 like?" Lavender shrugged "ehhh it's more full of safe SCPs than the dangerous ones here." You chuckled a bit "I thought Clef would prefer to work with dangerous ones seeing his nature and all" Lavender laughed a bit "oh he did but he can't really control where he's placed at, that's up to the 05 council plus Konny is at site-17 and he looooves Konny." She said seemingly in a joking way but you couldn't really tell. As you two finished up your meals a MTF agent stopped you both "the 05 wishes to speak with you two." Lavender groaned and cursed "damnit."
As you both walked into the room seeing Elias already sat arms crossed like a kid who got grounded you both sat down, you couldn't really make out any of the figures no matter how hard you tried. One of them began to speak "good now that everyone's here we may continue. Elias what you did was I have no words for it! You endangered not only your fellow staff and the site but also all of civilization for a slim chance he would be like some back-alley mutt." You could hear the venom in his voice as he continued "now usually if someone did this they'd be fucking dead where they stand but seeing as your immortal, we can't do that, so instead the 05 have all agreed you need some form of a 'time out' from anything that isn't work." Elias spoke "I'm not a kid Mi-" He cleared his throat "05-6." The voice spoke again "then stop acting like one! Until you finish every piece of work, we give you Dr L/n will be at site-17 to ensure you have ZERO distractions and Dr. Lavender here will be going with them to help aid their memory recovery." You both looked at each other as Elias spoke up again "what?! You can-" The person spoke again "excuse me I can't? Is that what you were gonna say Dr. Shaw? Cause I sure as hell can make this worse for you." Elias sat back down "sorry sir." He said the last work with venom as the person spoke again "good, Dr. L/n and Dr. Lavender pack some things and meet Agent Lola at the transfer station meeting dismissed."

You had already packed some things into one of the duffle bags that the foundation 'loaned' you, as you made your way to the underground subway a guard stopped you handing you a note "don't tell the superiors but Dr. Shaw practically begged me to give this to you" he whispered as you took the note nodding and quickly slipping it into your lab coat as more people passed by. You walked into the subway seeing Lavender wave you down, you walked over and sat next to her "huh comfy, didn't think the subways would be so comfy" Lavender shrugged "eh I guess they're kinda comfy." As she looked down to her laptop loading up some sort of game you took the note out of your pocket and opened it.

You smiled a bit before folding up the note and looking at Lavender "so how long will it take for us to get there?" Lavender paused her game looking at you "an hour or so, wonder if they still have our old rooms." She questioned out loud as you looked confused again "our old rooms?" Lavender nodded "oh yeah, we used to kinda go back and forth sometimes. We used to have our own rooms and stuff heyy now that I think about it you'll get to see 999 again, I think he got transferred back after you got to see him." You smiled a bit thinking of the little guy as the subway began to move heading to your destination.
