Chapter 14 - Lost

(okay so near the end of this Reader will have a memory that involves a head canon of mine, where the amulet will slowly revert Elias's current host to look like him sorta. So that's not canon to him, just doing that so the book will make sense)

You sat in Elias's room as he laid on the bed relaxing for a moment before you spoke "so..Everyone knows what happened to me?" Elias nodded "yeah they knew about how I was acting and eventually they got the truth out of me. Especially since you were at the last meeting" He sat up a bit holding himself up on his elbows looking at you "the last meeting you were at was well Claires goodbye" you raised an eyebrow remembering he had mentioned Claire organized this meeting "the first Claire. The one that organized this meeting is my niece Clair the second." You nodded as he stood up stretching "you met everyone at that meeting and I guess they remember you." He walked over to his suitcase refusing to put any clothes up in the closet and grabbed some clothes "I'm gonna get changed you can go explore if you want just uh be careful, I guess?" You nodded as you walked out the room closing the door, you sighed before turning around only to be met with a face. "ack!-" The woman brought you into a hug "if it isn't my dear daughter in law! Oh wait soon to be daughter in law" she corrected herself still hugging you. The woman was dressed in what seemed to be a traditional hijab and dark robes, she stopped hugging you but held your arms "my look how different you look! Oh my right you must not remember me..Such a shame.." She said looking a bit sad as her hands traveled down your arms till she fully let go of them, she looked up at you smiling "I'm Evelyn, Elias's mother!" You smiled at the woman "oh! lovely to meet you ma'am" she giggled a bit "no need to be so formal dear, you're family after all. Come, come follow me to the kitchen will you?" You nodded and followed the woman noticing how she almost looked to be..Levitating? But was she? She made her way down the stairs and to the kitchen with you trailing behind her, in the kitchen a man stood rummaging through the fridge "Mikell! There you are!" The woman walked?? Over to him and hugged him just as he had grabbed something "a- hello mother-" The man said holding onto some beer, you could hear someone walk in from behind you. for some reason the air in the room seemed to grow thick, you moved out of the way to let the person in. A scoff alerted the rest of the room of someone walking in, a blind man stood there holding his cane "father." The room fell a bit silent and you could feel the tension rising within the kitchen. Evelyn let go of Mikell as he fixed his clothes and adjusted his belt "so-" The man scoffed again cutting Mikell off as he pointed his cane a bit up at him "don't call me that. Don't call me that unless you decide to accept the rest of the family." You were confused as the man put a hand on your shoulder and carefully pushed you away muttering a 'sorry' before standing in front of you. Eveyln spoke "boys, boys! This is no time to fight! Please be reasonable, we have a guest! This is supposed to be a good day" She stood between the two, you didn't know what to do but you walked around the counters in the middle towards Mikell. Mikell spoke looking at the blindman "I would never hurt my so-" The man slammed a fist on the counter nearby making you and Evelyn jump "Bullshit!" You looked over to Evelyn seeing her give you a look saying 'help' you nodded and left the kitchen beginning to hear the yelling from the two men. It made your head hurt with how loud they were being, was it always this chaotic? You ran to the living room seeing some others look at you confused by the yelling, the boy you bumped into earlier spoke "yo what the hell is going on in there?" Serra spoke interrupting him "are David and Mikell fighting again? I wanna see!" She said jumping up before running out of the room as a girl sighed "I'll go break them up." She stood up and left the room as you followed noticing the boy also follow you. 

As you all walked to the kitchen you could see Serra watching the small fight and Evelyn now standing outside of the kitchen. Looking in you could see Mikell, Claire and David all in a heated argument. You shook your head the same time as the boy next to you "oh by the way forgot to introduce myself, I'm Yorvik." You looked at the boy next to you and nodded "ah- good to meet ya" he smiled before saying "you too grandma." He walked into the kitchen laughing as you stood there for a moment feeling almost insulted. As the fight was finally broken up leading to David being escorted to the living room and Mikell being told to go to his room by Evelyn like a child. You decided to go see what Elias was doing. You walked to his room and knocked "hey Elias it's me-" You heard the door open "hey Y/n come in, I heard some yelling down there you okay?" You nodded as you walked in "yeah I'm fine, just uh David and Mikell? Fighting" he sighed rolling his eyes but felt relief that it wasn't anything serious "of course they were fighting. They can never go one minute without starting shit with each other." Elias shakes his head already annoyed by his family, you put a hand on his shoulder in an attempt to comfort him. He smiles at you comfortingly before you both hear a 'Dinner!' from what sounded like Evelyn. Elias clears his throat before opening the door "you first-" He says awkwardly

You and Elias were sat together, TJ in the middle of you both. Everyone else were sat randomly, Mikell being far away from David. You couldn't help but notice the empty head chair, you almost wanted to ask who sat in it but by the looks of only Elias's mother being around you could guess who probably once sat there. You ate your food enjoying it as some of the family members chatted, you looked across from you to Evelyn "this is really good Evelyn" you said as she smiled "oh stop" she said flattered "they're just some family recipes I whipped up" You smiled at her before seeing Mikell grab her attention. You looked around the table till noticing Yorvik once again looking at you, he really seemed to have a staring problem when it came to you. You tried to not let it bother you but you could feel his eyes burn into you, to distract yourself you spoke to Elias about different things. He seemed to pick up on how Yorvik acted though, looking over at him as you focused on Elias talking to him about your time at site-17. The boy looked away from you and Elias back to his food, Elias then focused back on you smiling as you spoke about the adorable orange blob. You decided to keep what Clef and Lavender had told you a secret..for now. You'd probably tell him once you went back to the foundation, especially since you were still coping with it all. The idea of not having parents, no family..It stung. Then you remembered Evelyns comment 'future daughter in law' you began to wonder before the dinner if Elias had planned to marry you. Or maybe it was just a happy mother expecting for you two to get married someday. 

As the dinner finally wrapped up you had decided to help Evelyn with cleaning up along with David. David put away the dishes as you washed them and Evelyn put away the left overs before returning to the dining room to clean off the table fully leaving you and David alone. It was quiet with only the sound of the water from the sink and the dishes being put away, David finally broke the silence "I apologize for earlier. I did not mean to scare you if I did." You glanced at him before giving him another dish to dry "you didn't, Elias uh..warned me how his family can get. No offense" David put the dish away "none taken. I know how the family can get to." As you handed him the last dish you said your goobyes to him, but before you could leave he grabbed your wrist. You looked at him as he let go "sorry, I..forgot what I was going to say." You nodded saying your goodbyes to him before heading to the stairs. As you began to ascend them you could see Yorvik once again looking at you from the living room. You were definitely asking Elias about Yorviks problem now, you walked to his room opening the door and walking in "Jack ca-" You froze a bit as he stood there with his shirt off "oh uh- hey Y/n" you looked at him "..Hey." You both stared at each other, you felt the heat rise on your cheeks as you looked at his body. He didn't have much muscle, a lil pudge on him. Freckles littering his body. He looked so..attractive, his face was red as he just held his shirt "Y/n? You uh okay?" You looked at him "i uh yeah I'm- Shit what did I even come in here for-" Your voice cracked a couple times as he chuckled at you "you sure you didn't come in here to get a peak at me?" he flexed a bit as you chuckled still blushing "maybe I did.." he froze his eyes widening as he looked at you "..You- Are you flirting with me?" He asked surprised, I mean he had no problem with it he was just..surprised you were actually flirting with him. He smirked as you nodded "I am. And what if I told ya I'm finding you awfully attractive right now?" He walked over to you discarding his shirt, he leaned up/down/in to you "I'd say you also look pretty attractive Y/n.." You looked into his eyes seeing nothing but genuine love in them, you needed him and you needed him now. You threw yourself at him wrapping your arms around his neck feeling the amulet against your chest. As the amulet touched you his arms wrapped themselves quickly around you holding you tight, the kiss becoming deeper and more full of love. He led you towards the bed before pulling away "are you sure about this?" You answered with a kiss getting on top on him, he laid on the bed his hand caressing your face. He moaned into the kiss before you pulled away "fuck yes I am." With that he kissed you once again holding your pudgy/chubby/skinny/muscular body close. 

the next morning you woke up your body hurt a small bit, you groaned as you tried to turn over and fall back asleep. You didn't want to get up yet, especially after that night, you wanted to be like this forever. You wanted to be wrapped up in his arms as the blankets were messily covered over you two. If anyone walked in they could easily see you both were as naked as the days you both were born, you felt Elias shift as he let out a huff. Turning over on his side and letting you go he curled back into the covers, you decided to just fall back asleep. You wrapped your arms around him pressed against his back as you drifted back off to sleep. 

You stared down at the grave below 'here lies Elias Shaw' you wiped your face as the tears continued to fall down. The love of your life had been killed by a fucking SCP, the man you worked with was gone now. You felt someone pat your back but you couldn't see them, they were nothing but a blur. All of a sudden you seemed to teleport elsewhere, an observation room. Some D-class was trying to explain that he was Elias, he was Dr. Shaw. You felt sick looking at the D-class, before they looked over at you "Y/n." Another scene you were now sitting with a man who looked relatively like the original Shaw, the ginger hair and freckly body. A new anomalous effect was that the amulet would change the body slowly into looking like the original Shaw. Not everything would change, just usually the hair color and some skin features. Why were you here again? What was happening? You looked around confused almost aware this was some dream..or was it? A babies cry could be heard around you making your head hurt "I'm so sorry." 

You awoke again feeling the bed empty, you sat up confused before seeing Elias walk into the room trying to be quiet. "oh! Morning Y/n" he said smiling like an idiot "you okay? You look like you've seen some stuff" You held your head "yeah..Shit. I was supposed to ask you something last night" He raised an eyebrow at you before walking over and sitting on the bed, he looked at you "did someone do something? Or is it a memory thing?" You sighed "Yorvik." You could see him grow pale "Yorvik? What did he do?" You shook your head "nothing bad just..He keeps staring at me, he even called me grandma." Elias sighed as he moved so you could lean against him, he wrapped an arm around you "he's just like that..Guess he's surprised you're actually still around." He kissed the side of your temple "if he does anything or says anything to you tell me though, grandson or not I won't have him treating you like shit." You smiled "thanks Elias" He smiled at you rubbing your arm as you leaned into him "no need to thank me love"
