my eyes flutter open, and the first thing i feel are two arms wrapped around me. my cheeks burn up when i remember that Louis was here.

i carefully get off of him, and sat at the end of my bed. i turned on my phone

tuesday, november 3rd, 10:37 am

omfg there was school.

"Louis!" i wake him up

"y/n" he says in his deep morning voice

i weirdly blush, but try to brush it off

"we missed first and second period" i say panicked

Louis sits up and turns on his phone.

"oh" he says nonchalantly

"what do you mean, 'oh' we have to get up!" i frantically walked around my room

Louis laughs as he stands up and stops me from pacing around.

"relax, we're fine" he chuckles

"no, we're not fine." i back away, getting my backpack

"y/n just stop for one second" Louis says, standing by my bed watching me scurry around my room.

"what are we even doing today?" he asks

"uhm, we're reviewing all the new chapters in every class"

"then we're fine. they're going to review the same things tomorrow, you can skip one day" Louis tries to calm me down

i stop, considering his words. it does make sense, they would probably review the same exact thing tomorrow.

i look at Louis' face and frown. it was slightly bruised and discolored, it triggered a sense of curiosity in me.

"the thing about Jackson, why did you try to fight him?" my voice softened

"because he hurt you, and i cant let him run around freely without getting what he deserves" Louis looks away while his cheeks turn red

butterflies fill my stomach, and i walk over to hug Louis

"you didnt have to do that, but thank you" i smile, breaking away and putting my backpack back in its place

Louis smiles at me, and the room heats up.

"i should probably go home to you know, get ready for the day" he says, and i nod

"y-yeah, you should" i say, biting my lip

Louis walks away while blushing, and i sit down on my bed to sigh a breath of relief.

the new memory of Louis and i kissing on halloween night replays in my mind. i really did kiss Louis, on the lips too.

my stomach was doing flips and i had the biggest smile on my face.

- Louis' Pov -

i left y/n's house feeling all warm and fuzzy. my cheeks were burning, and i couldnt seem to stop smiling. i missed y/n so much, but i think our friendship will slowly start again. to be honest, i still dont know what happened, but im glad that y/n is warming up to me again. besides, i saw her wearing the ring that i had given her.

i got ready for the day, and Louis texted me, saying that we should meet up to hang out. since we somewhat clarified that our friendship was back to normal again, he said we should celebrate by going out.
