Shade POV
As soon as we saw Harry leaving with Draco, all hell broke loose.
I'm not even joking!
Ever since that motherfucking day, Jace looked like he would literally kill Draco for stealing Harry. Of course, Draco does the same whenever he sees Harry with Jace, and I can't even tell if a murder might actually happen!
However, surprisingly, Mariposa was the one who managed to calm the situation.
How, you might ask?
Well, it has to do with her threatening to tattle on them to Katheren.
You see, another brute battle ensured when Katheren was all alone with a bunch of older Hufflepuffs students.
They were "concerned" about how she, a Ravenclaw, would spend time with a Slytherin, who's half-disowned, and act like a spoiled princess.
That comment broke out into a fight, and Katheren, of course, won the battle.
It made Jace and Draco fear her more, especially since Dumbledore outright denies everything that happened.
So, even with them being buried six feet underground, Dumbledore would 100% have Katheren's side.
For now, the weeks of the Malfoy-Potter glares and threats lessen, but I highly doubt it wouldn't last.
Speaking of that day, everyone became paranoid when more attacks continued, mainly at the Muggle-borns.
So far, Colin Creevy, a Gryffindor, and Nearly-Headless Nick were petrified.
Poor Mrs.Norris was still petrified when it started, and Flich vowed vengeance for his cat.
I didn't want any harm done to us, but I wouldn't stick around to find out.
Once December came along, most of the students were relatively glad they got the chance to leave as soon as possible.
Almost everyone...
While we quads were staying over again, Harry's sperm and egg donor tried inviting us to stay over at their manor.
Thankfully, Jace objected to the idea and told us as soon as Harry received the letter.
Harry happily declined the offer, and Jace told us he was on our side since he didn't like that the bastard slapped Harry.
Call it petty, but we see this as a blessing when Jace's face sour.
On the other hand, Draco also offered to house us, but we declined as we didn't want to offend anyone in their family.
Despite our relationship with Lucius, we don't know how Ms. Malfoy would feel when she sees a bunch of children with Draco.
Thankfully, Draco was on our side and told his father, who sent us presents the following day.
We still stayed in the Room of Requirement, except for Harry sometimes, and we found happiness still.
As we happily chatted in our pajamas, I thought back to the following months of the attacks.
'Someone must be in control of whoever is petrifying Muggle-borns. Why them, though? Maybe it's something to do with their blood status...' I thought before looking at Mariposa.
'Something tells me we're in trouble...'
"Shade, why do you look like you're about to pass out?" Katheren asked.
The fact that she even noticed made me believe she could possibly see everything freaks me out.
"I'm just worried for us," I admit.
