Mirabel POV

"Why did Fate decide to hate you both?" I asked as soon as Katheren told me what happened during the Duelling Club.

We were in the Room of Requirements after a long day of school, and Harry practically didn't want to see Draco after she woke up.

"We don't even know! Now, people are talking about us!!" Harry pouts while Katheren groans.

"This is so unfair!!"

'Pity...' I thought before patting their backs.

"Don't mind me saying this, but everyone's going to start avoiding us, right?" Katheren causally says.

We nodded, and she continued, "I think the chances of us being blamed for the petrification will increase."

"Fuck!! Oh, my fucking Merlin!! That's even worse!!!" Harry shouted while I groaned.

'Fuck, indeed, Harry...'

"Oh, no! Does that mean we have to be on a watch 24/7?! Or do we need to test our abilities??!! Fuck, what if they kill or, worse, expel us??!!"

"You sound too much of Hermione, Harry," Shade said.

"Shut up, Shade! Can't you see I'm panicking?!" Harry exclaimed.

"Oh, we totally don't see that," Shade sarcastically said.

"Why you-"

"Shush!!" Katheren yells before sighing.

"Look, if we did end up being in some sort of trouble, I doubt Dumbledore wouldn't do something about it."

"Y-You're right," He breathes heavily.

"Phew, thanks for the kindly reminder, K."

"No probs, Harry."

After a few moments of silence, Katheren and Harry yawned from being exhausted.

"It's getting late. I supposed we should sleep on it and see what the future holds for us, okay?" I mumbled, which got everyone to nod.

"'Night, everyone."

"'Night, Mariposa..."

As I saw Harry and Katheren sleeping, I stared at Shade, who nodded in agreement. I sighed and whispered, "We need to find out what's causing the petrification around the school."

"Agree..." He whispers before yawning and turning around.

'Agree indeed...'

Katheren POV

Flash forward to a few weeks since the incident, and things aren't looking so easy for Harry and me.

Firstly, everyone talked about how one of us was "the Heir of Slytherin," and the other was an imposter. It pissed me off knowing that the justice system here doesn't work well enough, but Dumbledore and, surprisingly, Lucius made sure that nothing happened to us.

Another thing was that the Slytherins interacted with us more than any House combined, and Jace even started avoiding us!

Not Hermonie, of course. She scolded them when he and Ron suggested stopping hanging with us, which ended up with them not doing not receiving help for their homework.

As for Mariposa and Shade, they did their best trying to scare off some people, but not many took them seriously.

Overall, it's been quiet yet dreadful.

'At least they're letting us get to class on time...' I thought before seeing Harry talking to Draco.

Oh, speaking of Draco, it took Harry nearly a week before she saw him.
