Thirty-Two: Hush [2]

Both Luna and Zachary went back to the library, and practically took one of the vacant area where there were only a few people around. After all, they both have things they needed to set things right.

Luna was rather feeling uncomfort still, despite Zachary trying to lighten up the mood. Although his presence only ruin it.

She still couldn't believe how he saw through her. After the whole talk about the garden, they were there in the first place since he asked about the back of the academy and they happen to pass by the peculiar garden, and now they're here. Luna couldn't refuse him for, of course, she wasn't brave enough to turn down such a person as Zachary.

There were still alot of students being a nuisance, as they peek at the two was oozing out such an intense aura.

"This nosy brats! Get out!" Dayzen—A woman with a pixie cut hair and a strict looking expression, yelled. She immediately shooed the students and lock the Library's door, leaving only the students who had been there since earlier to study.

Luna watched as the Woman walk back to her place. 'I still wonder what documents she stole from Shiki's family, I'm surprised she isn't yet fired.' she couldn't help but thought.

Thinking back it really had been a month ago since Shiki and her snuck into the chamber inside the library same goes as the last time she saw the Original Luna.

"So..." Zachary spoke disturbing Luna's train of thoughts. She tried to look at Zachary forward but always end up shuddering as his bloody colored eyes met with hers, especially now that he has quite a serious expression. "Who are you exactly?"

His question caught her off guard. Zachary deliberately avoided to continue what he was about to say earlier— at least that's what Luna assumed since he suddenly asked her to tour him around and go to the back of the academy. However, since there's only a few people left and there were not a single person at the table next to them, it seem to Luna that Zachary is now planning to continue whichever he wasn't able to say earlier.

Gulp...

The words that came out of his mouth outside the library still hunt her and now his chilling and terrifying presence that he has been restraining is finally coming out, in a worst way possible.

Nevertheless, Luna took the courage to look at him straight forward. It still amze her how Zachary presence is enough to make one shudder and run away.

Luna started to open her mouth to give him a reply "I...."

"Hey look at that...."

"Are they....?"

Two girls was was gossiping in the corner of clothes, silently squeeling and giggling at the sight of the two guys near a corner.

"Shiki..." Remus called out, yet Shiki kept quiet as he continued what he was doing. "What exactly are you doing?" He asked irritatedly.

"Trying to mend a broken heart."

"Dude, what the fuck?" Remus snatched the clothes on Shiki's hand as he looked at him menacingly.

Shiki put his hand up in the hair as if he got surrounded by the police, but slowly reached out for the clothes and aggressively snatched it back from Remus.

"You knew my sister liked Arlo, yet you still kept going as being oblivious about it. She told you last year, didn't she?"

"Huh? Ah, well she did! And what do you mean I'm being oblivious?"

All Shiki did was looked at him silently, as if he was observing his whole being and eventually just sighed in distressed as he ignored Remus.

Oblivious, that's right. Remus— he who knew and was the first to know about his sister's feeling about Arlo, kept his composure and acted naive and oblivious. Since they were roommate, whenever their other dormates brought a related topic about Rei liking Arlo, Remus would act ignorant or just flat out ignore them.

"I... it's not that I was trying to be oblivious, but I'm just tired hearing it. I get it, Rei like the man I like, and there's a possibility for them to like each other, too. Rei's sweet and a straightforward kind of person, she's like a sun and perhaps someone who can match Arlo when it comes to status and personality. Who am I to get in between?"

Shiki didn't know how to respond to his statement, rather he was both puzzled and astonished by what he just heard. Most of all, he couldn't really understand what Remus's true feeling. Was she jealous of Rei? Perhaps so, or... was it the other way around?

"You mean, you just woke up in that body one day?"

Luna just finished vaguely explaining how she ended up being, well, Luna. Even Zachary could buffer what he just discovered, he seem to be more puzzled and mystify.

"And the only way you can go back is to, err, fall in love?" Zachary repeated what Luna stated him. As a response all Luna did was nod slightly to every word Zachary says. "To a male?"

"Seems like it."

"That's tough."

"You don't have to state the obvious."

Zachary sighed followed by a scoff looking at Luna as an idea came to mind. Although, Zachary was rather hesitating, but he thought it wouldn't be a bad offer to say.

"How about I..." He trailed off but instantly been interrupted by Luna, putting her palm up a sign for Zachary to not even finish his sentence.

"Never, no way in hell." Luna decry.

"You haven't even let me finish and it's not like that. I wouldn't offer myself to someone 7 years younger than me."

"That's not what I have in mind but, ok."

"And for your information, I'm betrothed to someone." He confidently revealed.

To Luna, Zachary was no longer someone who could instantly kill you, but rather a boastful and prideful man. It reminded her, her uncle, a scary looking person but when you got to know them, it isn't what you think they is.

"Wait, your 27? I thought you're older."

"Do I look like I'm in my forties, already? Am I that wrinkly?"

Well, in honesty, Zachary looked more like he could be between 25 to 25 years old and Luna betted that he was 34 but shocked to know that he's older that what she had initially thought. Still, looks can be deceiving, especially in this world were anything can be suppressed.

"Anyway, as I was saying. I can help you, just tell me the name of a boy you're interested into, I'll be your cupid." Zachary said winking at her.

Luna couldn't help but think of how can such a man say those word with a straight and determined face. Even she would die out in embarrassment if she were to tell something cheesy as that.

She smiled and stood up, "It's alright, you don't have too, but I hope you will never disclose whatever we've talked about. I hope you give me your cooperation." Luna looked at Zachary seriously, she can't let people know what him, her true identity.

All Zachary did was look at her straight in the eyes before finally standing up, smiling as he gave a light chuckle.

"Of course, my mouth is shut tight. Although I have a favor to ask."

"That is?"

Zachary took a deep breath as he looked at Luna, smiling, but it was more than menacing than a friendly smile. Making Luna shudder.

What he said almost made Luna dumbfounded, her head was buffering what he just stated.

With a menacing smile and what he just disclose to her, made Luna to tremble and agitated.

"I'd like you to join me kill my brother, Dion."
