I sighed deeply and folded the magazine I was reading.

I leaned on the backrest of the metal chair and looked at myself in my pocket mirror. My coffee head scarf is perfectly on and also my black sunglasses. I pouted as I sipped my lollipop, loving my shiny red lipstick.

"Iyon lang? So we're gonna be setting them up on a date, aren't we?" I asked, fixing my navy blue jacket.

"Exactly." sagot ni Elizzer at humilig sa lamesa, slightly leaning towards me. "Is it fine?"

"May magagawa ba ako?" I slurred.

He said this is what he wants.

Ang i-set up si Thalia at Andrius sa isang date. I have no problem with it honestly. Madali lang naman ang pinapagawa niya sa akin. I've done lot of this matter before.

I'll finish this quick. I promise. Para hindi ko na kailangang makipagkita pa sa kaniya.

Malaman pa 'to ni Hillary. Tiyak na magagalit pang lalo iyon sa akin.

"Great. I expect you to say that." He replied.

Hindi naman talaga siya papayag kapag tumanggi ako, hindi ba?

Kung hindi ang pag-set-up ng dalawang tao para sa isang date ... Ano pa ba ang ipapagawa niya sa akin?

"So kailan natin sisimulan?" tanong ko sa kaniya.

"On Sunday."

Umangat ang isa kong kilay. Today is Friday.

Saturday na bukas.

"Okay. That's quick. So maybe I'll send you the script this evening? Para hindi tayo mahalata." Pagkasabi ko niyon ay mabilis akong tumayo at tinalikuran siya para makaalis na.

Pero bago ko ulit ihakbang ang kaliwang paa ay nagsalita siya.

"You're not eating yet." He said it seriously. Na parang sinesermunan ako.

Lumingon ako sa kaniya sunod ay sa ibabaw ng dining table and realized ... He really ordered a lot.

"I can't eat here..." Bulong ko, nililibot ang paningin sa kabuuan ng restaurant na ito.

"I can take these out. You can eat these in my car. Uh no. Maybe we can go to my house. No one will disturb you there."

A car isn't the right place to eat.

And his house?

Is he sure he'll bring me there when Hillary's probably there?

"Um ... Nah. I can find us another vacant place to eat."

I smiled sarcastically followed by what he said.

It pissed me.

I hate how he quickly proved to me my hunch was always right.

At least for once, hindi lang naman niya talaga kayang i-deny?
