4 weeks went by

It's been 4  weeks since Riley has been with you . He got bigger and he was fully trained with the help of ghosts and the others who pitched in a bit with helping train him . your wounds turned to scars and they had already popped up from when you were captured 4 weeks ago and they were finally healed . you didn't care that they were there but it was a little reminder of how much the shadows are assholes . once who were brothers but now just seen as the enemy .
Shepherd was confirmed dead and you had gotten someone to give more missions during these 4 weeks Ghost trained Riley . Riley got to learn what you learned . He learned discipline and how to fight . little did you know what was coming . you know how you had gotten rid of graves , well gaz dug deeper about shepherd and found out that shepherd was killed by the people you fought for years . it was the muerte roja , english translation to red death . Muerte roja's were a group of people , they were not any type of people, they were enemy soldiers . Muerte roja were found in upper parts of New Mexico on the left side .  were ruthless  , they killed civilians for being in the territory without  even knowing who it was .  They were after you guys and they had found shepherd who picked off his men one by one  . They interrogated him for answers on task force 141 and when shepherd had told them he tried to work with them but they got their answers and shot him dead on the spot. He was found dead and Gaz found this out because muerta rojo's have sent the message through the reporting system . Now the red deaths were after you and now you had to go on foot and flee base but you didn't want to leave the only place that you knew as a home . you were upset about leaving but it was for a good reason and gaz had told the others  and Ghost had told you to go pack a bag. You stuffed some clothes and other things into the bottom of your pack  . you threw in your knife case and you threw in another case to sharpen your knives . While you were doing this you saw a photo of you and ghost when you were 7 years old . It was a picture of you on Ghosts shoulder from when you had your first mission . you looked back on the memory and this caused you to smile . you were soon broken from your thoughts when you saw soap at your door .
'' Hey ...can I come in ?"
Soap asked politely .
You turned your body fully and gave him a little nod while getting back to what you were doing . you placed the photo in one of the pockets of your day and night pack  and you placed your other belongings in your pack . He stepped in your area slowly and crouched down next to you.
'' listen i know this is gonna be hard but it'll be okay.''
Soap said he placed a comforting hand on your shoulder . you let your thoughts sink in but you never let them get to you . That was a problem you had and you did it alot . at times if you felt strong emotions you would push your feelings aside and it would sink in and just build up . Usually when you do this it either ends up with you getting extremely angry with someone or you let your emotions out by training most likely ends up with you  sparring with soap for extra practice in hand to hand combat .
'' As long as I'm with you guys I'm ok and i understand why we are leaving .''
You said plainly  while giving a blank emotionless look .
You were never really good with your feelings so you just let them sit and float around in the back of your head waiting for them to be taken out on something whether it was an enemy, missions or in training . You saw Riley run in your room and he tackled you playfully .
'' riley haha off boy go bother dad .''
Riley licked the side of your face and then booping his snout on soaps shoulder and then  he ran out of your room happily .
'' jeez he got bigger in only four weeks, holy shit. Might as well call him goliath .''
You chuckled while zipping up your pack.
'' He sure did get big . He's probably gonna get bigger . ''
Soap said while getting up .
You got up and slung your pack onto your back.
'' Oh and wear a hood because it gets cold at night . ''
Soap said while he pointed to you .
Your outfit consists of some leggings and a short sleeve shirt .
'' will do ...get riley reay and put on his vest so he knows it's time for work .''
While pointing to the vest on the side of your bed .
'' gotcha spook .''
Soap said while getting the vest and heading out your room . you followed soap but you took one more glance back at the room you'll never get to see ever again . you almost had forgotten your mask that you made .
'' shit .''
You ran back into your room quickly and you grabbed the mask and slid it on your face .
'' now i'm ready.''
You said to yourself as you officially said goodbye to your room .you walked down the hallway and down a few doors and outside to  the humvee. The sun was setting and it was starting to get cooler . you felt the breeze kicking up and you shudder at the slight coldness causing it to give you goosebumps . you walked  and saw the normal 5 men you've seen everyday talking to each other as they waited for you . you made your way to them and you were first greeted by Ghost..
'' you got your stuff ?''
Ghost asked while taking your bag from you and throwing it into the humvee .
'' yeah.....where's riley ?''
You asked while looking around to see if he was around somewhere .
'' he in the truck suited up and you should be too .''
'' It's not my fault that I got all my shit stripped from me when I had gotten captured and the only few things I have left are my knives and my mask . ''
You said sternly while giving him the side eye .
'' here .''
He went into the back of the truck and handed you a rifle and handed it to you while sliding a vest over your head . The vest had extra mags in it including a heavy duty knife .
'' there now you have gear .''
'' thanks .''
You said quietly while putting your rifle's safety on .
'' listen i know it's gonna be hard leaving but we're gonna make it through and soon hopefully but now that the red deaths are after us we gotta lie low .''
'' i know dad ....where will we be lying low ?''
'' were gonna camp out in the mexican desserts.''
Your face lit up a bit and you placed down your rifle and you scurried  over to the others .
'' WERE GOING THE THE DESSERT HELL YEAH .''
You said excitedly .
'' spooks excited .''
Price said while chuckling .
'' you know the new drill spook .''
Alejandro said while pointing to the humvee .
'' yes tio i know to stay close and stay low and to keep my rifle safety on when sleeping . ''
'' good and what else ?''
You roll your eyes and you walk over to the humvee door letting out riley.
'' and to stay keep riley with me.''
'' good now shall we head out .''
Gaz said while getting into the driver's seat .
The others nodded their heads along and all went to the respected seats in the humvee and got all their stuff settled . you sat near the window side on the left and ghost was next to you with Riley . Riley didn't make a peep , he knows that now it is a mission and to do what he was taught in training when told . ghost gave him a pet while placing his rifle  down on the floor of the humvee. You set you rifle down too and soap sat next to Ghost on the other side while gaz was driving and old man Price got the front seat .
'' you guys strapped in ?.''
Gaz said while starting up the humvee .
You buckled up and you heard the clicks of the other seatbelts too and you gave gaz a nod .
'' your mask will work well for guardian your eyes from debris and other things .''
Price said .
'' i know .''
You said while leaning over ghost to pet Riley .
Riley nudged your hand for you to keep petting him and you did but soon stopped and fixed your mask.
'' y/n it'll be okay alright .''
Ghost said in a deep raspy tone .
'' I know it will but as long as I'm here with you and the others I'm fine . ''
You said while giving him a reassuring smile . it wasn't long before you felt the humvee move and you looked back at the only place you knew as a home but you were too determined to take down the muerte rojas .
