Shrignold hums softly. He turns to the nervous warren. “ Warren! Welcome back! ” He smiles widely flying over to him. He gave him an air hug. He was a little bit of a germaphobe and warren didn't quite understand self care nonetheless, he finds his little ways on how to show his affection. Warren wanted so badly to hug him back but that was one of their many rules.
1. No touching ( Unless absolutely clean )
But no matter what warren did. He couldn't keep clean. He just gave up one day. Why bother anyway? Shrignold backs up floating near him. “ Whatcha wanna do today?? I have a lot of things we can do!! ” Warren blanks out what shrignold kept talking about. It was about reading or bored games of some sort. He cared for shrignold but he was bad at showing any sort of emotion. He hated it. He smiles. Just staring at shrignold made him extremely happy. He had quickly grown feelings for the butterfly hybrid. I mean- who could blame him? This was the first time anyone had been nice to him. So of course he'll get feelings quick. But the thought of him and shrignold is such a foolish dream. I mean shrignold is pretty, Clean and Kind! But... Warren? Gross, ugly and annoying. Two opposites. Plus shrignold wasn't even gay right? Even if he was. Why would he pick warren of all people? Shrignold snaps his fingers. Warren snaps out of thought. “ Are you even listening?? ” he nodded. “ Yeah ok then what was I talking about? ” warren looks around then frowns. He messes with his fingers. “ Hey it's fine warren- I know you can't help it! ” Warrens lil tail wags. He blushes alittle. “ Than-Thank you for understanding - ” He air pats warrens head. “ No problem!! Anyways! C'mon! I baked you some cupcakes! Also... Please don't eat the plate again... ” He flies over to the kitchen. Warren smiles. Little goofy smile.

So this is love?

Warren thought.
