As a young man, Tom had always been fascinated by the ancient art of fishing. So when he stumbled upon a secluded pond deep in the heart of the Japanese countryside, he couldn't resist the temptation to cast his line and see what he could catch.
But as he sat by the pond, he felt a strange and powerful magic begin to take hold of him. Before he knew it, Tom was being transformed into a beautiful Japanese girl, complete with long flowing hair and delicate features.
Panicked and confused, Tom tried to reverse the transformation, but the only way to do so was to fall in love with a man. But try as he might, Tom couldn't bring himself to do it and was forced to accept his new identity.
As a punishment for his stubbornness, the pond's magical spirits cursed Tom to become the pond's cleaner for all eternity. He was forced to live in a small hut by the pond, spending his days cleaning and maintaining it.
But one day, a kind and handsome spirit appeared to Tom, offering to help lift the curse in exchange for her love. Despite her initial hesitation, Tom found herself falling for the spirit and the curse became permanent.
From that day on, Tom lived out the rest of her days as a beautiful Japanese girl, happy and content in the company of the spirit she had come to love.
