Chapter 20. Nevermore again

I was driven to Nevermore by the one and only Tylers dad.

It was an awkward ride, we didnt speak very much.

He would occasionaly take a side glance at me, but id just look away.

We finnaly arrived at the school and i looked at the overwhelming gates not knowing what was behind them.

I see Tyler waiting at the gate for us with a bunch of police surrounding him.

"You ready?" I ask and take his hand.

"As long as your with me." He whispers to me softly.

We enter the school and all students eyes are on us.

Remembering our last visit-

Xavier looked at me and we locked eyes, he shly looked away.

I knew by the look in his eyes he didnt  hate me.

We walked to Weems' office and sat down by the two chairs infront of her desk.

About 5 minutes of silence Weems' walked in.

"I assume you know why you two are here." She says.

Me and Tyler look down.

"You two...are a danger...to..everything!" She baffles on.

Blah blah blah......killed innocents...blah blah.

"But were allowing you a second chance." She says eventually.

"For safety procautions you and Tyler will share a room." She says.

I nod, and my cheeks flush.
I feel Tylers cheeks flush by the heat radiating off him.

We exit the room and chuckle.

"Time to face a load of bitches in the courtyard." I say.

"Just ignore them and keep walking." He says trying to make my stress calm.

"Yeah..okay." I say considering that option.

I grab his hand and we start to walk into the courtyard.

I see Wednesday glare at me, along with Enid.

I see Xavier just look at me.

I see Bianca look me up and down.

I see Ajax do a friendly wave, i wave back.

I see Yoko, look anywhere but me.

Most of the students were to scared to even look at me.

But everyone was giving Tyler glares....

Me and him just stand in a far away empty corner, the whole courtyard went silent.

"This is boring." I whisper silently to Tyler after a few minutes.

"Agreed." He whispers.

"I havnt not been a hyde for this long before." I say.

"Seriously?" He asks not believing it.

"Yeah, i found it fun being in my form." I whisper in reply.

He shrugs and lets out a low chuckle.

Bro everyone was STILL staring at us.

"If these people could just stop looking at us." I say loud enough for some people to hear.

Everyone looked away avoiding all eye contact with us.

I leaned my head into Tylers shoulder and sighed.

This is going to be a lomg freaking semester.

Right now me and Tyler were heading to carnivorous plants study.

I knew it might be painfull for him, cause Thornhill used to teach it.

But he seemed okay i guess.

"Know children, can anyone name the proccess of which plants make food?" The new teacher asks, Mr Hanburg

I lift up my hand.

"Photosynthesis." I answer. And everyones eyes widened at my voice.

"Correct." Mr Hanburg says and i go back to writing my notes.

I take a glance at Xavier who was sitting next to Wednesday, i didnt notice he was staring at me.

He gives me a small smile and looks at the sketch he was drawing.

Boi i knew so little then....
