Chapter 6. The scam

(sʜɪᴛs ʙᴏᴜᴛ ᴛᴏ ɢᴏ ᴅᴏᴡɴ!!)

I got up in the morning internally groaning about another day at school.

"Wait, isnt Kc arriving today?" Tyler asks curiously.

"Oh ya he is!" I say happily, this very statement lighting up my day.

"I havnt seen him since the..fight." Tyler says guiltily.

"Hey, dont be guilty, he was just being a complete ass." I reassure him.

"Yea, what would i do without you love?" He asks smiling, and gives me. a quick peck on the lips.

"You would most likely die." I say while putting on my strawberry chapstick.

He scoffs and rolls his eyes.

"Okay, i'll see you later, have fun at archery practise!" He says and hurrys out.

I sigh, and head out to the field.

"Hey Xavier!" I say and wave at him.

"Oh hey y/n! This ya first practise." He says more like a statement.

"Yeah, it sounds super fun!" I say excitedly.

He hands me a bow and an arrow.

"This is how you hold the bow." Xavier says, and helps me.

"And this.....is how you shoot!" He says and makes my hands let go of the string.

The arrow hits the middle of the target.

"Okay now my turn!" I say with a huge grin.

I aim the arrow for the middle and.....let go!

"Woah well done y/n!" Xavier says as i hit the middle of the target, splitting the original arrow aswell.

"What can i say, im a natural." I say and flip my hair.

He scoffs and laughs along with me.

"So theres this boy-" i say but Xavier cuts me off.

"YOUR CHEATING ON TYLER?!" he asks outraged.

"No! Hes my best friend, his names Kc, and hes joining the school today!" I say before he could but in.

"Oh yea-sorry." He says and suppresses an awkward chuckle.

I hug Xavier.

"You'll forever be my faveourite friend." I whisper into his ear.

We look into each others eyes for a moment.

Then he kisses me, but i kiss him back. It was deep and passionate. Shit what am i doing, i put my arms around his neck and he deepens the kiss.

We start falling and break apart, we laugh together.

"Shit, what did we just do?!" Me and Xavier ask together still laughing.

"Maybe i do have feelings for you." I whisper into his ear.

And with that i walk away, leaving a very cheerfull and confused Xavier.

Now the problem is....Tyler or Xavier?
