Chapter 18.

"Carnival it is." I say, and the four of us walk for like...ever to this one carnival in town.

It had stalls, rides, you name it. I saved up quite a bit of my allowance to come here. Carlitos and Josh said they could pay for their own, so i insisted i pay for Tyler.

"Fine, but just this once love." He says

"Ugh straight love." Carlitos mumbles, i lift an eyebrow

"Whatever." Tyler says rolling his eyes, i take his hand as we all walk to the entrance of the carnival.

(I dont know how much dollars are)

"Each ticket will be 21 dollars please." The guy at the stand says, i dig in my purse and take out 42 dollars.

"For me and my boyfriend please?" I ask, the man nods and takes in the money, then replacing it with tickets, we wait for Carlitos and Josh.

"Got the tickets." Josh says holding them out.

"Great." I say grinning, as we enter the carnival, i must say, it was super amazing. It was so bright and colourful.

"This place is amazing, it reminds me of my grandmas fiestas." Carlitos says his eyes lighting up.

"I could imagine" i say, my eyes darted to a stall selling books, i instantly ran over.

"Hi." I say to the girl at the front, she was listening to music on her phone

"Hello." She says, and takes her headphones out, "what can i help you with?"

"Hey, do you have The Trials Of Apollo?" I ask, she nods eagerly

"Yeah i got all the copys right here." She says, and pulls out the collection

"How much?" I ask smiling

"Just 30 dollars." She says, i dig out of my purse and hand it to her

"Brilliant, thanks uh...?"

"Dani." She says smiling ( nicosdoctor)

"Im Y/n, nice name." I say, and wave as i walk away with my new books

"Where did you run off to?" Tyler asks curiously

"Nah, just the book shop."
