"y/n! come get into the car and bring your things. it's time to go." i heard my mothers voice call.

i shot up from my bed, it was now time to leave this place behind.

childe has been my online best friend for years, and i recently found out the new city i'm moving into is where childe lives.

i begged my mother to enroll me in the same school as him, and viola!

as my mom told me,

this is a new beginning. i can start fresh.

i lifted my heavy boxes of clothing and accessories.

it was so heavy that my back started cramping.

my mother rushed to my room, "oh dear, let me help you. these boxes are most certainly a burden."

we both steadily made our way to the car, and i helped her put the boxes in the back.

now, it was time to go.

i must admit, i will miss my hometown, but it had bad memories anyway.

i never really had any friends.

and i never had anything to do here.

the only memory i'll have from this town is the memories of me growing up.

i took a seat in the back of the car and put some pillows and blankets around.

the ride was meant to be 10 hours long so it would be best to stay comfortable.

after a few last checks, we set off.
