The Baby Problem

Check-up Part II

Third person's POV:

When South and his brother North walked into the lab they were greeted by Germany and someone else.

"Oh. My. GOODNESS!!! North is adorable!" They said, about to snatch them away from South. But South had other plans, he took a step back and held North out of their grasp. "Nice to see you too China..." South said unamused by his antics. China composed himself before responding, "oh sorry- I just didn't expect for North to turn out this adorable!"

South doesn't like China much, especially not near his little brother. "Does he have to be here?" South asked bluntly to Germany. China gaved an offended look to South. Germany nodded, "ja I do need him. I wasn't able to find out the the exact quantities to the liquids that turned him like this. So I asked China for help and we were able to figure it out. He's very knowledgeable in this field and has been very helpful in brainstorming possible solutions for North Korea here." South sighed before mumbling, "ok... Whatever it takes to help North."

North looked at the red colored country. He was kinda scared at first, so he held onto his brother as they said something to the tricolored country. He wasn't sure what's going on but didn't like the labs. North can't exactly tell why but something made him feel scared. He quietly mumbled some baby gibberish before hiding on his brother's shoulder.

China awwed in glee, being consumed from wholesomeness. South only held his brother closer and slightly glared at the other country. Germany not wanting to waste time lead South and the others into another room.

The German instructed South to place North on the lab table. South did so against North whining protests. He was doing the grabbies to South wanting to be picked up. South wanted to pick him up but didn't as he knew that it'll only disturb Germany.

Speaking of that country, he was doing a physical check on North, making sure all is in order. He checked his mouth, ears, non-existent nose, and went over to check his good eye. Germany then tried to check his other eye by trying to take off the eye patch but North didn't like that. He frowned and slapped the taller country's hand away. Germany was taken by surprise but the slap wasn't painful so he was fine. "North please let me take that off, I'll give it back soon I promise," Germany said trying to take it off again but North pushed his hand away and protectively placed both hands in his eye patch afterwards.

Germany was dumbfounded by this behavior and looked at South and China for help. South approached North, "Northie.... Please give me the eye patch, Germany needs to check your eye socket to see if it's doing alright..." He said gently. North looked at him and again did his grabby hands. South sighed softly before picking him up and then North let him take off his eye patch. Germany was now able to check it out while South held him. China was just fangirling in the background on how cute North was.

After South gave North his eye patch back, Germany got a syringe. "Is that necessary?" South asked remembering what happened last time. "Yes it is," the other responded, "we have to check if his blood is still the same as last time or if it has changed." China nodded before adding, "if something changed from last time we need to conduct more research on his condition before having a safe cure. Else the cure may cause more harm."

South looked at North worriedly before taking a deep. He let Germany plunge the needle into North's skin, making the said country cry out. China quietly mumbled a small, "poor baby.." while Germany finished taking the blood samples he needed.

North sobbed and kicked his little legs while doing so. South quietly hushed him while holding him close and rocking side to side. North sobbing soon quiet down. He was left with small sniffles and his little chubby hands was grasping South's shirt not afraid of the sting coming back.

"We'll have to wait until these results get back," Germany said as he put away the blood samples, "if it still the same we have may have a cure by next month." South was glad to hear a possible cure might come soon. "Yeah but is it bad I want North like this?" China said trying to boop the small country. North hid his face on South avoiding the boop making the mostly red flagged country pout.
