"So you're not stuck here." Barry looks at his son, crossing his arms. Everyone was gathered at the West house, early in the morning as Liam and Y/N were sitting next to one another on the coffee table. Ethan was sitting on the couch with Cisco and Ralph, the group looking between mother and son.

"No." Liam replied with a shake of his head.

"So the reverse tachyons in your system?" Caitlin questions with a confused expression.

"They were there because of me." Liam admits with a sheepish smile.

"Are you kidding? You know how many credit card points I just blew trying to get rid of your negative tachyons?" Cisco questions him as Liam shrunk in his spot and everyone else shook their heads with a look. "I just bought a brand new spectral tacheometer when I could have my Fiji get away. Not that I have anyone to go with anymore."

Ralph turns to face him but Cisco shakes his head, "I'm not taking you to Fiji, Ralph."

"Why didn't you guys say anything?" Barry asked them.

Liam looks between his mother and uncle as the two give him a knowing look. Liam sighs deeply and digs inside his pocket as he takes out a futuristic thumb-drive. He turns it on and shows everyone else the newspaper clipping from 2049.

"Oh, my God!" Caitlin muttered as she stared at it.

"Y/N and Ethan never return?" Cecile said.

Liam turns it over so Ralph and Cisco could have a look at it before he turns it off and puts the thumb-drive away in his pocket.

"That's why you came here. To see your mother, and get to know your family-" Joe says as Liam looks down at his lap, "-because you were raised without a mom, and never knew Ethan."

Everyone looks at Liam with a sad expression as Ethan shakes his head and mumbles, "And history repeats itself again."

"So what?" Iris spoke up.

The team looks at her and Ethan sighs, "Iris-"

"So what the article says that you two never come back. So what if the other one says that you both vanished. I mean, it's said other things before, right? We made it say other things before." Iris states, "So whatever the future brings we are gonna deal with it when it gets here. And change it if we need to."

"She has a point." Cisco says, "If there's one thing Team Electric-Flash and Artemis is good at, it's handing the future it's own ass and then some."

"What he said." Caitlin smiles.

"Well it looks like Liam's gonna need more training." Barry says.

Liam looks at him and gives a small nod. Just then, the baby starts crying as Cecile stands up from her spot, "Oh, okay, she's hungry."

"Yeah, why don't we, uh, all meet back at Star Labs, all right?" Barry suggested. The team agrees as they all get up from their spots and start heading out of the home.
