Liam's Voice-Over: "I never knew what I wanted in life, but I knew it always felt good when I helped someone. And then I found out I had powers― I wanted nothing more to use them to help many more people. That's why I came here. To meet my family, to stop Cicada, help fix the Electric-Flash and Artemis' legacy, and save them from disappearing in the future. I believed I could do the impossible, maybe I did know, or I didn't want to think that this was going to be one of the outcomes of how it'll all end."

This was it.

The chance to stop Cicada and end all of this for good― no longer having to deal with anymore of her terror to this city, but the moment Y/N fired, Ralph shouts and runs over. The closer the blast got to the dagger, Ralph did the one thing that he could do.

He jumps in between― the dagger bounces off him and falls to the ground but the blast hits him. Everyone looking at the scene in shock, he then falls back to the ground with a thud, turning into something from a cartoon. The team all quickly rush to his side as the rest watched from the cortex.

"Cicada-" Ralph muttered, "Thawne, dagger-"

Cicada quickly got back up, calls up the dagger before flying off.

"How's Ralph?" Y/N asks Caitlin once the team returns back to Star Labs, all of the heroes changed out of their suits

"I've never seen anything like it." Caitlin admits, everyone looking at the screen, "I can't quite figure it out. His cells are kinetically inverted. It's like they're the reverse of themselves."

"Should've spent more time trying to figure out how this thing works." Cisco sighs, setting down the Mirror gun.

"I just don't understand why he would jump in front of the blast." Liam spoke up, "I mean, why would he do that?"

"That's the question, isn't it?" Sherloque mutters, walking out the cortex, "That's the question."

"In other news, Cicada deuce is still MIA." Cisco says.

"All right, we should get to CCPD, see if we can find anything that could help us track her." Barry says, the speedsters and archer nod as they all walk out of the cortex.

Cecile, Joe and Captain Singh walk through the CCPD discussing the situation― they pass the speedsters and archer as they walk into the office. 

Barry pulls on the gloves on his hands, "I'm ready for this nightmare to end."

"It should've been over already." Liam sighs, putting on his gloves.

"Liam, I'm sure Ralph had a very good reason." Ethan tells him and the boy only nods in understanding.

"But until we figure out what that is, or Sherloque figures it out-" Y/N crouches down to see if she could spot anything, "We have to figure out the situation here. Look."
