Kyra's POV
I ended up going over to Jason's house to work on the project, he was actually really sweet, or so I thought.
"Kyra, I got ice cream!" Jason exclaimed as he walked into the living room
I laughed as I took my bowl of ice cream "Thanks."
"So, tell me again, what this project is about." Jason chuckled as he sat next to me
"Jason, I've told you like at least ten times!" I complained "It's about chemical reactions and chemistry shit." I explained as I wrote down some dot points
"Got it." Jason nodded as he opened his text book
"I don't think you get it." I laughed as I opened my laptop to start some research
Jason laughed before looking at me "So, why are you friends with those emo kids?" I let out a chuckle
"One of those emo kids is my brother and I have no other friends so, they're my only option." I explained simply
"Come hang out with me and my friends." Jason offered with a small shrug, I looked away from my laptop and furrowed my eyebrows
"Really? I mean, I'd love too but, wouldn't that be weird?" I questioned
"Why would it be weird?" Jason asked glancing at me
"Cause you're popular and I hang out with those emo kids." Me and Jason shared a laugh "I'll think about it."
"Great." Jason winked at me "It's getting late you should probably get home before your emo brother goes more emo." I laughed a genuine laugh at Jason's joke before nodding
"Yeah, I'll see you tomorrow." I smiled as I stood up
"You bet." Jason said as he followed me to the front door, I waved as I left the house a big smile on my face as I began to walk home...
