Kyra's POV
New Years Eve, the day I've been waiting for since the beginning of the year, 2012 wasn't my best year, the only good thing that happened to me was meeting the guys and being able to join their band, I had always wanted to be in a band and now was my chance, lets just hope 2013 is better.
"Kyra, you ok?" Michael asked snapping me out of my trance
"What? Oh, yeah...I'm good." I nodded quickly, Michael nodded and turned back to the TV, I zoned out again as the guys started to play video games, it was almost midnight, the guys convinced me to stay up and I couldn't say no
"Kyra, you good?" Ashton asked waving his hand in front of my face, I nodded, Ashton looked over at Calum "Is she ok?" Calum nodded
"She just gets really bad anxiety." Calum explained, Ashton nodded in understanding
"We got ten minutes." Luke said not taking his eyes off the TV, I nodded and turned off the TV after I snapped out of my trance
"Hey!" The guys shouted simultaneously, I rolled my eyes
"We've got ten...eight minutes until midnight there's no point in trying to finish a game." I shrugged
"Give me the remote." Luke said trying to grab the remote but I pulled it out of his reach while laughing, Luke tackled me onto the lounge as the others kept their eyes on the time, I struggled against Luke's weight
"Guys, we got a minute." Michael called out, Ashton rolled his eyes when me and Luke kept messing around "Guys." Ashton pulled Luke off me as the countdown started
"3...2...1... Happy New Year!" We all yelled in unison
(This is kinda of a filler chapter hence the reason it's so short, I'll try make the next chapter a little bit longer.)
