The day was moving so fast and I'm still stuck on how to get prepared for my big day

I know my mother doesn't have any money so I didn't even bothered to go ask her for a dime

I called my cousin Jada which was an hairdresser

"Wah Gwan cuz, Uh know seh tomorrow a graduation and mi did wah fix up miself" i said in the phone

"Cum mon mi we fix uh" she replied

"A the same piece a wig mi have from di last time inuh, it patch out, uh think it can work" I said

"Mo a graduation mi nuh know if dat deh piece a wig deh go work but come mek mi try a ting" she then replied

I sighed, I can't wait to be able to afford these things, life's just so hard, too hard I thought.

I got dressed to go get my hair done

By the time I got in town it was 2:30 which gives me time to get my hair done and anything else I had to do in town.......

Jada fixed my wig so good you can't even tell that it has patches

"Uh angle this mi gyal, bad to bad mi feel ready now" I said to her.

Jada wasn't going to take much from me knowing my circumstances. I gave her what I had and she took it.

Sometimes it's good to have talented families.

I left Jada's hairdressing shop and began walking in stores to see if I could get cheap heels.

I saw this tinted car following me for about 10 minutes now, whenever I go into a store it pulls over and it's just driving slow.

Bwoy mi paranoid bad after all that had happened, who wouldn't?

I tried to speed up my walking but the car kept following

I tried my best to reach my taxi stand so that I could get a drive as quick as possible to go home

When I reached my taxi stand the car suddenly stopped right in front of me

If my heart ever beat any faster I would probably just drop down there and then.

The windows on the car finally wind down,

It was him, The Don, The man that saved my life the other night.

"Uh good" he asked

"Why are you following me?" I asked

"Sorry if I scared you it wasn't intentional" he then said

I thought to myself "Awah di bomboclaat this man coulda want wid mi?"

"Get in the car," he suddenly said.
In a serious tone
