Previously we saw Issei head to the training camp alongside Asia, where Rias demanded him to wait, at first Issei ignored, but when she threatened him further, Issei put her in the ground, despite this she asked Koneko to follow him, which she did, however this was discovered and she was knocked out on sight. They then meet up with the rest of the group and enter Lavender Town where they head towards the Cemetery as they proceed upwards, they hear a singing this was immediately figured out to be Hypno's doing, as they headed further up, they recognized him and told them about their situation, however Hypno needed further proof, so he decided to take a test, he hypnotized the young descendent, Issei fell for his Hypnosis, as he did, he saw the first vision, where he noticed that this was the first time he was being abused by his own parents thanks to the girls, Katase and Murayama, he saw his sister watching him, however this was pointless he eventually got angry enough to repel them away, passing the first test. The next one was at his school where the girls that ruined his life, were present, they tried to harass him again, needless to say, Issei kills both of them one by one, and it is also revealed they are cowardly in nature. Issei is then congratulated on passing the test, and he is then taken back to his world, where Hypno agrees to join him, the group then head down the cemetery where they hear a Pokémon crying, however before anyone could say anything, the Pokémon Center from where the crying came from, had suddenly exploded, the group rushed to see what had happened. When they entered the Pokémon Center, they saw that the Nurse had killed herself, and the machine exploded, it was revealed that several Pokémon had died, as Hypno grieves over the death of the Pokémon lost, they hear an unfamiliar voice, as they saw what seems to be a blackened color Jigglypuff, it seemed to be crying, as Hypno asked him what happened, he explained this was EEeEE's doing, it killed every one present in the Pokémon center and escaped when it had done it's job, Issei pitied the poor Pokémon as it had now nowhere to go, Asia then suggested to adopt him,  which surprised the group, as she first mistook the gender, as it was revealed the Jigglypuff or now called Purin was considered to be a girl, as Hypno searched for Pokéball, he then gave it to Asia, allowing her to catch Purin, it immediately joined the group, as Hypno waved their goodbyes to the rest of the group, and they entered back in the portal heading home, as they did Asia kept the Pokéball inside of her satchel and  headed back, where they were confronted by a very angry Rias. Rias demanded Issei listen to her, which did not end well for her, as Issei and Asia left the room, Rias promised to take revenge on Issei for his insubordination.

One day before the Rating Game,

Gremory Farmhouse, 9:30 PM

Issei sighed, things have been annoying for him, with especially Raynare and Rias pestering him, every single day, Raynare was the worst, which did surprise him, but it infuriated him.

Raynare had nearly killed Asia, during her 'training' section of her time, needless to say, Issei made sure to instill fear in her. Issei almost crippled and nearly killed her, however he was stopped by Asia, before he could do the deed. Issei thanked her, since this would have exposed more of his power to the rest of the devils, something he did not want to risk. 

Additionally him killing her, would alert Rias, and possibly her older brother Sirzechs, something he did not want to risk, hence he spared the former fallen angel, he could not risk the lives of himself, Asia or the rest of his friends. He hated tolerating Rias, but he believed that the payoff would come off one day.
