Previously we saw Claire, Asia and Issei sleep on one bed, after showing that Claire and Asia are people he could trust without any problems, they knew that they could trust him, and he could to them, however their moment was interrupted by Sirzechs who had come to the house for a visit. After an embarrassing moment, Issei and the girls greet him, and he puts on his request, it was Kiba who was to be searched for, Issei accepted the request, and in return he revealed his two secrets with one being the reincarnation of Zalgo as well as him having access to the Power of Destruction. Sirzechs and Claire surprisingly took this well, as she warned Issei to let her know something important like this, as Sirzechs further invited him for the peace conference, as Issei accepted to head there. Sirzechs then left the group, as Issei and the other girls both head to school. At evening, the group managed to track Kiba, who was standing near a water fountain, as Issei has a conversation with him, he comes to know of Kiba's tragic past of him being involved in the Holy Sword Project, a project that had claimed the lives of many innocent children, as they were conversing, Xenovia and Irina joined in who revealed that it was Valper Galilei who was responsible for the damage, eventually they agreed to form a sort of temporary alliance, as the duo joined the group temporarily, as much as Issei did not like the arrangement, with Claire convincing him, he agreed to this temporary alliance. As they did, Issei planned the group to split into two, with Issei, Claire and Kiba taking on one group, and the others taking the other group. While travelling Claire and Issei started to act like a regular couple, which Kiba noticed and teased them. Once they reached the church they were greeted by Freed, who was ready to engage them, Claire revealed her weapon which Ajuka had created for her to fight, as Kiba activated his Sword Birth, with the trio fighting against him with ease, Issei had an idea of taking multiple clones down at once, he used Kiba's help to do so, leaving Freed vulnerable, as Claire used this to blow of his hand using Burst Cannon, which did work as it left Freed heavily damaged, as the other trio joined in, but as they tried to take their swords a bounded force field appeared, the caster was revealed to be Valper, Kiba rushed at him, but it had no effect. This allowed the two rogue exorcists to escape. However Rias and her peerage show up and demand Kiba and Issei to come back, and on refusal Rias engaged with both Claire and Issei, the duo got ready to fight.

Rias: Akeno and I will take care of Issei! Can you handle Claire?

Raynare: I dunno Princess, they are much stronger!?  

Rias: Just do it!!!

Not wanting to argue, Raynare reluctantly agreed, as Rias yelled, on the other side Issei spoke

Issei: Asia protect Kiba!

Asia: Leave it to me!

Issei: You ready for this, Claire!

Claire: Oh you bet I can't wait to get my hands on this pampered princess!

Issei: Well then, you can handle Raynare and Koneko right?

Claire: Leave that to me, and besides I have a score to settle with that crow.

Claire spoke with a smirk, as Raynare angrily glared at Claire, Issei smiled as he knew that he could count on Claire to be by his side, and so is Asia, these two girls he can trust, at the very least.
