Vandalism

Hare: *on a phone call* Go for Hare... Look, not yet. I just need a little more time... I can explain! But... you said... Listen, look, look, listen. I've been looking for him everywhere, he's not here... I can see if anyone here has a lead on what's going on, because it's a bit weird that some of these people seem to be missing...

*Hare looks up and sees a poster - "Masked Singer National Live Tour". Hare takes his paw and skims through the dates and the cast*

Hare: On second thought, I think I may be closer than we think... Oh you'll see, I have a plan.

*Hare hangs up the phone, smiling mischievously as he glances at the poster with Badger and the gang on it*

Hare: It's so typical of that weasel to sneak away as soon as we turn up...

*Hare looks over to some of the masked singer and dancers, including Viper*

Hare: *thinking* Although there's someone else that could do me a favour, even if it means that I'm going to have to get tricky...

*Hare approaches the group - Seahorse, Blob, Viking, Flamingo, Viper, Queen Bee, Beagle and Firework*

Seahorse: So, has anyone seen what's been going on at the sports area of the studio?

Queen Bee: No, why? What happened?

Seahorse: I heard about arson.

Blob: Arson?! Who could have possibly done that?

Queen Bee: Firework, where were you last night?

Firework: What?! Why would you assume I did it?! I would never do that.

Viking: That's impossible, there aren't any scorched stains on the astro turf. But I do know about vandalism taking place the other night.

Flamingo: Vandalism? That's awful. What sort of damage was caused?

Firework: What does that matter?

Flamingo: Because sometimes what they write can indicate some sort of identity, like an insignia.

Blob: Viking, did you see what it looked like?

Viking: No, sorry. But what I do know is that the stand was slashed, as if a giant bear swiped on the posts or some other creature had gnawed at the benches. And I may have seen some word graffitied on the walls.

Queen Bee: What did it say?

Viking: It said "Grim"... What does it mean?

*Viper's attention is immediately drawn to Viking, Hare joins up with them*

Hare: Good morning everyone.

Firework: Oh hi Hare!! Fancy seeing you here.

Hare: You all seem rather distressed, what's the matter?

Blob: A vandalism has taken place on the studio grounds and we don't know who did it.

Hare: Oh my. I hope nobody got hurt. Not to worry, I'm sure your security team will get to the bottom of it. Although, considering the renovations taking place on the studio grounds, I'm sure we can also spare some time to help clean up your astro turf.

Beagle: Well, I must say I'm very impressed with your concerns of the wellbeing of our community, chap.

Hare: Of course. Ideally it's not really up to me to think about the people that dwell in the constructions that are made, but it definitely does help to make connections with them. It puts in a good word for the business.

Beagle: A good word, indeed.

Blob: Yeah, please stay around with us!

Hare: I'd love to, but I'm only here for the business.
