Geno's POV
I smile as I slowly open my eyes to the crows squawking. I look up to see Reaper sleepily gazing right back with a smile right back. I wrap my arms around him, pulling him closer.
"You've been very cuddly lately."He says
"Can you blame me? It's nice snuggling the one I love."I say quietly
"Hmm...Well you know what's nice about today?"He asks
"What, Reaper?"I ask
"One, it's a time where our breaks from work line up so we can relax. Enjoy ourselves together. Two, after weeks of talking and planning, we finally have the wedding planned. Location picked, clothes prepared, date set, all invites sent out, schedules set on how it will go, everything is handled. Three, I'm laying next to you, beautiful.~"He lists
I smile wider, kissing his head.
"We're so close to being wed and it has me excited. Soon we'll be living together and live our lives happily ever after..It's amazing to think of. Thank you for being so perfect in my life, Love."He sighs, kissing my head right back
It's rare that he's so open or deep in thought and it's hardly ever good. I could see in his eyes that his mind was in dark places behind those sincere words so I nudge him to snap him out of it.
"Hey, it's going to be great. Don't count yourself out. You make it hard not to love you."I say
He chuckles.
"And you've become much more open about your feelings. Usually you'd just respond with a shut up to my comments."He says
I sit up and smile.
"Communication is key."I say, getting up
"Are you still getting those sudden pains?"He asks
I shrug.
"They have become fewer and rarer."I say
"It still seems odd. Gaster says I've fully recovered my power so there shouldn't be any pains for you."He says
"Maybe it takes time to fade away with all of its effects." I say
He hums, nodding.
"Where are you going?"He asks
"Just going to tend to some things. Sleep or I may go back to old habits. You need it." I say
"But-"He begins
"Reaper, we talked about this. Sleep."I say
He groans then nods.
I go along the halls and went to the kitchen. I started cooking, trying out the recipes that Blue sent me. I hear footsteps coming down the hall, then two arms around my waist once I finished.
"Genoo....Come rest with meeeee."He whines
"You didn't stay in there long."I say
"I miss you..."He says
I smile wider.
"I never left home."I say
He whines.
"Okay...Then try this cookie."I say, handing him one
He eagerly eats it and rests his head on my shoulder.
"Since when did you cook so much?"He asks
"I learned especially after you broke the toaster."I say
He chuckles, then his grip loosens.
