If you looked closely, like really closely, and not just look for a second and turn your gaze somewhere else, no......no, if you actually took a moment and looked as close as you could, you'd see how upset Emily was, the racing of thoughts in her mind at this moment

If she knew that this was how things would have worked out, then she probably, most definitely would have done things differently, but alas, here she was..... sitting in an apartment that wasn't even hers, waiting for the brother she never knew

Henry was a bit of a shock, never in her wildest dreams would she have imagined a man so lost, so lost in the darkness but apart of her wondered......was that all there was to the man? Was that all to the man she so desperately wanted to call family?

Emily sat in the dusty old apartment, it wasn't even hers nor was it Henry's but for some odd reason, she felt like she'd be safe here

She kept her photo in her hand as she held it tightly, a tear falling from her eyes as she thought about her mother, thought about seeing her again..... if it was even possible

The door bursts open as a strong wind blows through the room as Emily rises up to her feet

She turns to see Speed Demon standing in the room as you could hear her gasp under her breath

Speed Demon slowly turns his head to look at Emily as his mask dematerializes

Henry looked at Emily, his so called sister, he'd be lying if he said he fully believed her, even after everything she'd told him, there was still a hint of doubt, a broken piece to the puzzle

One that he was desperate to find out and he couldn't return to the future without knowing...... at least not yet

The quiet tension surrounded the room as the brother and sister duo stared at each other, that was until Emily decided to speak up

Emily: How did it go?

Henry doesn't even bother to answer her question as he walks over to the fire place and grabs a broken piece of wood from the floor and sets it inside

He snaps his fingers getting a slight burst of electricity as he uses it to lite the wood on fire

He watched as the fire began to take hold on the wood, Henry just titled his head and watched it

Henry: Have you ever killed anyone, Emily?

He asks as he stood up and put his hands on the wall and looked down at the floor as he breathed out

He doesn't get an answer from Emily, so he turns around and repeats himself, this time in a strict, determined tone

Henry: Have you ever killed anyone?

Emily shakes her head no as Henry let out a small chuckle as he made his way over to Emily

Henry: It's quite the fascinating event, Emmy. Feeling yourself taking a life, knowing that you hold their future in the palm of your hands. There's no other way to describe the euphoria you get from taking another person's life.

Henry looks at the palm of his hand as he feels the euphoria entering his body just by thinking about it

Emily: Is it worth it?

He was caught off guard by her question as he puts his hand down and looks at her

Emily: With every kill, you lose apart of yourself. Is it worth it?

Henry doesn't answer Emily's question as he just turns and looks back at the fireplace

Emily: I know you may think that my intentions aren't true. That I'm just here to use you or whatever it you feel, but I promise you. I'm only here because I'm your sister. I am-
