Chapter 33: The Stupid Brother

A speed force portal opened up in 2019 as Speed Demon came running out of it as he ran through the streets of Central City; he couldn't believe that Thawne had played Bart..that his brother even allowed the reverse flash to play him but of course it happened because Eobard Thawne always had a plan

Speed Demon ran into the apartment building which Bart lived in as he immediately burst through the apartment door as his brother stood and instantly found himself against the wall with Speed Demon's hand around his throat

Bart coughed as he tried to pry himself free but it was no use as Speed Demon's mask retracts as you could see the anger in Henry's eyes

Henry: Do you have any idea what you've done Bart?

Bart struggles to get his words out as Henry finally lets him go as the youngest West-Allen falls down to his knees as he coughs repeatedly. Henry turns around and rubs the back of his neck as he thinks about what the hell happened to allow Thawne to escape Star Labs

He turns back to Bart as his younger brother looks up at him

Henry: You have some explaining do. Right now.

Bart coughs and lets out a sigh as he stands up; he knew he certainly wasn't gonna get out of this one

Bart: Okay. It all started when Nora and I returned to Star Labs during your fight with Godspeed.

Henry crosses his arms as he sits down on the back of the couch to get ready to hear Bart's explanation for his reasons of going to see Eobard Thawne

<Flashback/Flashforward>

Inside of the pipeline, in a cell we see the one and only Eobard Thawne aka the reverse flash pacing back and forth as he paced, his thoughts were soon broken when he saw the door outside the cell open up and he looks closer to see Bart standing there

Eobard: Well, well. If it isn't the littlest runner. To what can I do for you?

Bart steps closer..you could see the tiredness in his eyes..the look of a brother tired of having to go up against his evil brother and trying to save what was left of Central City

Bart: You created Henry. You can tell me how to stop him.

Eobard let's out a cheap chuckle as he placed his palm on the glass of the cell

Eobard: Destroying a monster is a lot harder than creating one.

But Bart wouldn't stand for these games from Thawne instead he steps forward and looks at Eobard with rage in his eyes

Bart: Tell me how to stop him.

Thawne tilts his head at Bart seeing how determined he was to put an end to Henry's reign of terror..he brings his head back up and tells Bart one simple thing

Eobard: To destroy what you created, you need to before he was created.

Bart tilts his head slightly in confusion as he didn't quite understand what Thawne meant by this

Eobard: Your brother has been a long for so long, he'd never allow you to change what was. He'd simply follow you.

Bart started to piece together what Thawne was getting at

Eobard: Maybe it's time to stop replying on meaningless connections towards the king and start hitting him where it hurts. Put Henry West-Allen in a situation that he won't be able to run away from.
