𝘾𝙃𝙄𝙇𝘿𝙍𝙀𝙉 𝙊𝙁 𝙏𝙃𝙀 𝙁𝙇𝘼𝙎𝙃 [𝔹𝕆𝕆𝕂 𝟚]

Chapter 30: Maybe There Was Hope After All

[A special surprise will be in the next chapter. Just thought I'd let you all know now so I could get you all even more excited for this story. Also this chapter is a long one given I felt it needed to be.]

Cisco and his newly made weapon that he had created in order to free Henry and Barry from the tv were in the speed lab as the tech genius presses the button on it and it shoots out a blue form of energy out at the television set on the table in front of him as it begins to shake as a smile forms on Cisco's face thinking that it worked but disappointment soon settled in as the tv didn't do anything

He lowered his head as he let out a heavy sigh; he'd tried for hours to build a device that would get Barry and Henry back but unfortunately nothing has worked..it made him feel as though he wasn't gonna be able to bring them back

Nora: Whatcha doin?

Cisco jolts by the sudden appearance of Barry's daughter as he drops the device and turns to the left to see Nora standing there with a smile on her face

Cisco: Don't do that!

He says in a mushed tone as he bends down and grabs the device which he had created, then looks over at Nora

Cisco: I thought you were with your uh- your mom.

Nora: Well I was but uh...I just couldn't stop thinking about dad and Henry. I'm just worried that we won't be able to bring them back. Mom is certain we can but I'm just not sure.

Cisco sighs again as he understood what Nora was feeling given he was feeling the exact same way; he walks over to the table and puts the device on it. He turns around to Nora and sees that the smile that was on her face was replaced by a sad expression

And seeing this made him wonder something, though it was likely everyone else had wondered the same thing

Cisco: Why didn't Henry kill you and Bart?

Nora looked up at Cisco with surprise as she was taken aback by his question; it wasn't like Henry hasn't tried to kill them before or well Bart and maybe he could've...he had killed people before so Cisco was right to ask that question. Though Nora didn't have any way of giving Cisco an answer

Nora: I don't know.

It's not that she didn't think Henry would kill her..because there were plenty of times he could have; she just never knew why he didn't nor if he even had plans

Nora: My brother is um...a very complicated person.

Cisco: But why don't you and Bart take him down?

Now that was a question Nora had been asked so many times and just like all the other times, she'd continue to give the same answer

Nora: Because he's my brother.

Cisco: But he's a monster, a killer, Nora.

Nora shakes her head in disagreement..there were so many things that Cisco nor team flash understood..nor could they ever

Nora: He's not a bad person, Cisco. He's just... he's misunderstood. He needs help, not to be taken down.

Cisco: But I could trap him. Trap him inside-

Nora: No!

Nora shouts, clenching her fist tightly as she stepped closer to Cisco; she'd never turn her back against Henry..he may have done some horrible things but he's still her family..and for that she couldn't allow Cisco to finish his sentence

Nora: Henry comes back, Cisco. Promise me.

Cisco: But-

Nora: Promise me!
