Chapter 34: What's Past Is Prologue [Part 1]

[A/N: So this is part one of season 5 episode 8....This'll probably be like four parts...And also, I won't be doing the crossover Elseworlds cause ThatEhhGuy did it in his story SOTRF.]

Team flash stood in the cortex as they waited to hear what Henry found; apparently he knows how to stop Cicada once and for all and while they were a little skeptical to hear what he had to say..they knew that they needed a plan..any plan at this point

Henry pulls up a picture of Cicada's dagger and then he walks around the table and goes over to the monitor as he faces the team

Henry: Okay, so we know that the dagger is what gives Cicada his power, right?

Barry: Yeah.

Barry says as Henry smirks and then points to the dagger and replies

Henry: So all we have to do it get it from him.

Cisco let out an unconvinced chuckle and laughs as he points out something important

Cisco: You've been here, right? None of us can even get close to getting that dagger from him.

Henry looks at Cisco

Henry: I've been here and I know, Cisco. Getting his dagger will be hard. Unless...

He pauses as Barry who didn't like the suspense spoke up

Barry: Unless what?

Henry looks at his father as he tells him

Henry: We go back in time.

Bart laughed out as the youngest sibling walked over to Henry and said

Bart: You realize that this whole thing started because we went back in time, right?

Henry: Yes, Bart. I am aware and that wasn't my fault. Tell me, whose fault was it exactly?

Bart lowered his head knowing Henry was referring as he just turned and walked back over to his original spot

Barry on the other hand was a little intrigued to hear about Henry's plan and asked him about it to which the son of the flash walks back over to the monitor and changes it to show three objects from the past and then turns to face the team

Henry: We need to create a powerful power dampener in order to get the dagger from Cicada. I've come up with three key things we need to create it.

Henry glances at Barry and continues

Henry: All you and I have to do is go back and get them.

Barry let's out a sigh and then looks at Iris; obviously he knew what could happen going back in time but they were out of options and needed to do something

Barry: We have to do it, Iris.

Iris bites her lip as she looks at the monitor and then at Henry as she thought for a moment and then agreed

Iris: You guys have to do it. It's the only way.

Barry nodded then looked back at Henry

Barry: Let's do it.

Henry nods as he turns the monitor off

Henry: Back to the past we go.

Henry goes to walk away but then Nora speaks up

Nora: I'm going too.

Henry chuckles and turns to face his sister

Henry: No, you're not.
