"A battering ram cannon." Finn says, looking through the binoculars.
"A what now?" Poe asks.
"Miniaturized Death Star tech. It'll crack that door open like an egg." He answers.
"There has to be a back way out of here, right?" Rose asks. BB-8 chirps.
"You got something for us, BB?" Pandora asks as he rolls towards them, 3PO following him.
"BB-8 has analyzed the mine's schematics. This is the only way in or out." 3PO says. The base creaks and Pandora slips her hand into Poe's.
"Come on. We have allies. People believe in Leia. They'll get our message, they'll come. But we have to buy time. We gotta take out that cannon." Finn says. Rhys smiles at him, thankful for the hope he always seems to have.

"Be careful. No unnecessary heroics." Pandora says. Poe chuckles, but nods.
"No unnecessary heroics. I promise." He tells her. She cups his face and looks into his eyes, checking that he's not lying. Once she decides he's telling the truth she kisses him, hoping everything will be all right.
Rhys pretends to gag, having already told Finn and Rose to be careful before they left to join the others. Pandora pulls away and punches his good arm as she glares.
"Oh, please. Don't pretend like you didn't make out with your boyfriend before he left." She says.
"Fiancé, actually." He replies.
"What?!" She shrieks, moving towards him. Poe wraps his arm around her waist and pulls her to his chest to stop her.
"He's injured, go easy on him." Poe tells her.
"I will." She tells him, kissing him one last time before he leaves to join the others. She watches him, making sure he's gone before she turns to her brother. She punches his arm, right where she hit him before. "What the hell, Rhys?"
"It was spur of the moment. I was going to wait until we were back so I could tell you." He replies. She rolls her eyes and wraps her arms around him, careful of his injury. "You're not mad?" He asks. She pulls away and looks at him.
"Why the hell would I be mad? Am I a little annoyed that you're engaged before me? Yes. Am I gonna do anything about it? Maybe just a little." She tells him.
"She's not going to do anything. Right, Pandora?" Din says, as he and Cordelia join them. He raises and eyebrow at her and she groans.
"Fine." She mumbles, crossing her arms over her chest.
"I'm happy for you." He tells his son as he pulls him into a hug. "Finn's a great guy." Rhys smiles at him as he pulls away. Din pats his shoulder before stepping back.
"You're going to make your mom cry." Cordelia says, hugging Rhys. He groans, and she laughs. "I'm only teasing. Congratulations, Rhys." She tells him, patting his cheek.
"Thanks, Mom. Thanks, Dad. I'm really happy." He tells them.

Pandora hugs Poe when he returns, holding him tight. They turn to Rhys, who glares in the direction of the two speeders, angry at Finn for the stunt he pulled.
"Come on." He orders, dragging them behind cover before the cannon blasts through the door.
"Luke? What the hell?" Pandora says as they stand, watching him make his way towards the door. He exits the base, stopping to face the First Order. They begin firing at him, sending lots of salt into the air where he stands.
Poe grabs Pandora and Rhys and pulls them with him as he runs to join the others. They stand with Leia, Din, and Cordelia, who rest their hands on Leia's shoulders.
"Med pack! I need a med pack!" Finn yells as he drags Rose inside the base. "She's hurt pretty bad." He tells the medics as they rush towards her. Rhys and Pandora join them. He orders the medics around, knowing he can't help with his injured shoulder, but knowing he can help by overseeing them.
"Someone check him for injuries." Rhys orders, his tone icy, avoiding Finn's eyes. He watches the others moving Rose away, overseeing their work. Finn watches him go before turning towards Pandora, sending her a questioning look.
"He's angry and he's smarter than me, so he's giving himself space so he doesn't say something he'll regret. When he's calmed down and thought things through, he'll talk to you." She tells him.
"He's angry?" He asks, making her roll her eyes.
"Of course he's angry. I am too. He may be smart by not talking to you right now, but I'm not. When I said unnecessary heroics, I didn't think I'd have to tell you that, too. What the hell was that?" Pandora says, staring Finn down with her arms crossed over her chest. He sighs and lowers his head.
"I was trying to save him. To save all of you." Finn tells her. She scoffs.
"You're an idiot." She says, pulling him into a hug. "I forgive you because Poe also does stupid shit all the time, but I'm gonna have to pretend like I don't until you and Rhys talk. Okay?" She pulls back to look at him and he nods, smiling.
"Okay." He replies.
"No more doing stupid shit, though." Pandora says. He nods.
"No more stupid shit." He promises.
I didn't write any of the speeder part, but obviously Rose doesn't kiss Finn like she does in the movie lmao.
This chapter is also a little short, but there should just be one last chapter of The Last Jedi.
