N.erine Tresor Tourbillon lived in the deep dark seas of France. Nerine, for a young girl, was notorious for creating vast chaos amongst the people who reside by the beach. From sailors to passers by, Nerine has been dubbed 'La Peur du Marin,'— which means a sailor's fear, due to the fact that her presence was well associated with the lack of seafood and massive storms. Her foolery made the humans want to drive her out even more.
When enough was enough, the sailors and townsfolk decided to set a trap to stop Nerine. The girl, of course, was quick enough to tell what they were trying to do. She fled the ocean, pretending to be a human like the rest. Many in Rue Morgue never knew how she ended up there. Some speculate she swam the Atlantic to find sanctuary, others think she skipped from country to country. One thing is for sure, though, Nerine is one who is up to no good.
