Chapter VII: Fly away

*A few days later, Sylvia's POV*

It was another school day and another music lesson, my classmates were talking about different ideas on my next songs but I didn't like any of them. 'My Treasure' was getting more popular each day... people of Menagerie were whispering when I was passing by them... in the good way... they were wondering if I want to surpass my parents one day... for example.

I told Vixen about the idea on next song mom gave me and she started working on it right away. Clementine tried making the musical notes but without my humming she couldn't do it... and unfortunately Vixen refused to show us the lyrics... saying it was a surprise for all of us, meanwhile Alissa went searching for someone who can play on musical instruments after school... and she was actually successful... though we didn't see that person yet... she didn't even tell us if it's a guy or girl.... she also told us she's testing his musical skills in private.

Why does my 'band' keep things away from me... I have the right to know.

Clementine: "Sylvia!" I shook my head.

Sylvia: "H-Huh? W-What's going on?"

Alissa: "You were spacing out... are you okay?"

Sylvia: "I was just thinking..."

Clementine: "About?"

Sylvia:"Why do you girls keep secrets concerning our 'band'."

Alissa and Vixen looked at each other then back at me.

Teacher: "No talking in my class! Sylvia, Alissa, Clementine I get you're famous but that doesn't mean you can interrupt my lesson!"

Sylvia: "Sorry..."

Alissa: "[I'll tell you after class okay?]"

I nodded... and now had to wait until it ends.

Luckily for me it didn't take that long so after the class ended Vixen joined us.

Vixen: "Why was the teach yelling?"

Sylvia: "Why don't you wanna show us the lyrics... or me at least."

Vixen: "I said-"

Alissa: "She has the right to know Vixen... no secrets... besides we told you many times that if you show us we can work on it together."

Clementine: "Alissa's right you know."

Vixen: "Fine... ruining the surprise." She gave us her notes as I hummed the lyrics, Clementine with her pencil ready already writing the notes... I had to hum it multiple times for her to write everything down.

Sylvia: "It's not bad at all."

Vixen: "I'm not finished yet... it will take some more time."

Sylvia: "Yeah the ending feels... unfinished."

Alissa: "When do you think you'll be done?"

Vixen: "Maybe tomorrow maybe the day after."

Clementine: "You work fast."

Sylvia: "And now you Alissa... who's the person you're testing..."

Alissa: "Right... well we to be honest practice together... his name is Blaze and so far he's really awesome with any instrument he takes."

Sylvia: "What did you tell him?"

Alissa: "That our band, Memento Mori is looking for some instrument player... everyone heard about it. You should see how many people clawed at me but I got away... then I met him and he'd give it a try... honestly when it comes to piano he's even better than you Clementine."
