While Quinn held a frozen bag of peas against one of Sam's eyes, Mike said, "Dude was a wild animal."

With a nod of his head, Artie said, "'Manimal'."

Then Brittany said to Artie, "I'm so turned on by you right now."

While Christian only rolled his eyes at Brittany and Tom only silently eyed her with furrowed eyebrows, Sam asked Quinn, "How bad does it look?"

Quinn told him, "It's pretty hot, actually."

It was then that Puck said to them, "You have no idea how hard it was for me not to jump into that beatdown."

Then– with a turn of her head– Santana asked, "Where were you, Finn?"

Finn replied, "I was still out on the field, okay? I-I totally would have given him a beat-down if I'd been there."

With a mere snort of his nose, Christian said, "Sure you would've."

While Rachel was quick to give Christian a pointed look, Mercedes said to Finn, "The fact is, it shouldn't have gone down without you, Finn. You should've been leading the charge." Then– after glancing over at Tom– she said, "Then again, without you there, Tom was the one that really helped out Sam with his fight against Karofsky."

While Christian only glanced over at Tom with narrowed eyes and watched Morgan hold a frozen ice pack– one she'd taken out of a mini cooler that she kept in her locker– and pressed it up against the side of Tom's face, Kurt said, "Lay off Finn, everyone. It isn't his problem. It's none of your problems, actually. But thank you for what you did. Especially Tom and Sam."

In turn, Mike said, "Serious. An epitome of a pair of leaders."

It was then that Mr. Schuester walked into the choir room and asked them, "What's going on? What happened to Sam and Tom's eyes?"

Quinn told him, "They stood up to Karofsky."

Then Tina said, "All the guys did– except for Christian, who isn't even on the football team. Well, not Finn."

Then– with a raise of his head– Christian said, "It wouldn't have mattered that I'm not on the football team. If I knew that this was gonna happen, I would've kicked Karofsky's ass all over again." Then he looked over at Morgan and asked her, "This would've been like, what, the third time I could've kicked his ass, if I'd known about it?"

While Morgan only nodded her head, Mr. Schuester asked, "Is everyone okay? Do we all need to go talk to Principal Sylvester?"

It was then that Sam shared a look with Tom before he said, "No. We got in a few good licks too, so we can just call it even. And maybe this will send a warning to Karofsky, telling him to back off Kurt."

Not long afterwards, Mr. Schuester put a hand on Kurt's arm and asked him, "You okay, Kurt?" After Kurt had only nodded his head, Mr. Schuester said to them, "Alright, guys. Let's take our places. We got a wedding to prepare for."
