Kehlani woke up to vibrations under her pillow. She lifted the pillow, picking up her phone. The brightness was all the way up, so she squinted her eyes. She turned the brightness down and looked at the notification. It was Aria. Kehlani rolled her eyes, opening the text message.

Kehlani groaned loudly. It was 9 in the morning on her day off and Aria was already starting her bullshit. She hovered over the keyboard about to cuss her out.
LANI: Girl im bout to beat yo ass wtf is wrong wit you??
LANI: It better be sum important.
She watched the bubbles immediately pop up in the bottom left corner. She knew she wasn't going back to sleep, so she sat up in her bed.

Kehlani smacked herself on the forehead. "I knew it wasn't shit important." She mumbled.
LANI : You really done woke me up for this? I should say no just because..
A⋆r⋆i⋆a : NOOOO. im sorry :(
LANI : mhm. what you wanna go to the mall for?
A⋆r⋆i⋆a : Idk.. you jus been working so, I wanted to go out wit you today :)
Kehlani bit on her bottom lip. She knew Aria was planning something, but she didn't know what it was. She shrugged her shoulders, typing on the keyboard.
LANI: yea, we can go ig.

Kehlani sighed, heading to her bathroom. She looked at herself in the mirror. Her bonnet was halfway off her head and she could see the drool on the side of her face. She pulled her toothbrush out of her toothbrush holder, and began to brush her teeth.
After she finished, she heard a knock on her door. She knew it was Aria, so she headed to the door. Aria stood at the door, with that same dumb smile she always had on her face. She walked inside the house, nearing the fridge. "I haven't ate nothin' yet so.." She dug through the fridge, before pulling out some leftovers Kehlani had. Aria looked at Kehlani with a weird expression. "Girl, why you not dressed yet?" Kehlani rolled her eyes, "Because I just got up not too long ago." Aria nodded, putting the leftovers in the microwave. "Okay, well hurry up and put something on."
Kehlani headed to her closet, and decided to wear something simple.

She fixed up her hair and makeup, walking back into the kitchen with Aria. Aria was stuffing her face with the leftovers. "Damn girl, you look good in everything don't you?" Kehlani shrugged, grabbing her keys. "Alright, comon before the mall get busy." Aria nodded, putting the empty plate of leftovers to the side. "I call shotgun!" Aria yelled. Kehlani laughed, "Like I was bout to let you drive my car." Aria huffed, "I can drive though." Kehlani rolled her eyes, "Sure.."
