Authors note : this really was just a filler chapter . I just needed something to add up with the backstory that's about to come up. But I still would advise y'all to read it!!!!

"Lani, you still haven't said which dress I should wear!" Aria shows two dresses into the camera where Kehlani could see. Kehlani's face got closer to the camera, and she shook her head.

"Why don't you go buy a new one? Them dresses ain't really for that restaurant you was talking about." Kehlani sat her phone down on her dresser, as she began to put on makeup.

"Lani you ain't helping, I literally just said that I bought these dresses today girl." Aria threw the dresses on her bed beside her. "I'm just tryna look good for my man."

Kehlani puckered her lips together. "Oh, so he's your man now? Now when he actually kidnap you don't say nothing."

Aria sat her phone near her bed to where it was facing her, she picked up the dress that was on the right of her. "I think imma wear this one." She held it up to the camera.

She decided on the black dress, holding it up to her body, "How I look?" She asks Kehlani. Kehlani just sighs, nodding. "It's good for a first date I guess Aria." Aria huffed, picking up her phone from the bed.

"Well I'm gonna get ready, it's almost time anyways." She says. Kehlani nods. "Make sure to turn on your location for me, I love you."

Aria smiles. "Love you too girl, I'll call you tomorrow." Aria hung up the phone and toss it on her bed. She made her way into the bathroom with the dress in her hand.

Aria's heels clicked on the floor of her house as she made her way into the living room. She sat on the couch and turned on the tv. It was already past 9 o'clock, and he still wasn't there to come pick her up.

Aria isn't a patient girl, and she'd be damned if she was gonna be waiting on somebody who invited her out. She stood up fast and stomped into the kitchen, sitting on one of the stools.

She pulled out her phone and began to scroll on instagram, when her phone began to ring. She rolled her eyes, taking her time to answer the phone. "Hello?" She answered with an attitude.

"You sound mad." A man's voice says on the other side of the call. Aria smacks her lips, "Why wouldn't I be mad the fuck? You told me you'd be here at nine and it's almost about to be ten o'clock!"

He laughed on the other side, "My bad, I had something to do before this. I'll make it up to you though." Aria crossed her legs and tilted her head. "Make it up how?" She says in a low voice.

"You'll see." Was all he said before hanging up. Aria took the phone from her ear, leaving the kitchen and going back into the living room.

A horn sounded loud outside, as she took no time to open the door. A black Hellcat sat in her driveway. She knew that it was Jai'erre when he dimmed his lights. She could see him in the drivers seat, smirking at her.
