Kehlani and Aria didn't take that long to get ready. They both put on the dresses that they bought at the mall earlier, and put on their choice of makeup. Kehlani watched Aria jump up and down in the mirror on her wall.
"Why you got so much energy?" Kehlani asks Aria, laughing. Aria smiles, "I'm just excited! I might find somebody there." She wiggled her eyebrows at Kehlani. "You might find somebody too, or you and Trell might rekindle y'all selves." Kehlani rolled her eyes. "Girl please, I wouldn't even be going to this party if my son was here, you better be grateful." Aria smacked her lips, nearing the door. "Alright, let's go Trell probably bored outta his mind."
They both walked down her narrow hallway, and back into the living room. Dontrell was sitting on the couch on his phone before putting it down when he heard footsteps coming towards him. "Damn, y'all took y'all's time." Aria put her hand on her hip. "Just say we look good and keep it pushin." Dontrell didn't waste anytime looking at the dress that Kehlani had on. She watch his eyes slowly look at her, making her annoyed. She snapped her fingers in his face. "Alright let's go before I change my mind."
They all made their way towards the elevator. They made it to the parking garage, trying to figure out what car they would drive. "Good thing you ain't bring your car Aria, we would've been stuck on the side of the road." Dontrell laughed. Kehlani put her hands on her knees laughing. Aria rolled her eyes, hitting both of them. "Y'all gonna leave my baby alone!"
They decided to ride in Dontrell's car, since he would probably be the most sober out of the three of them. Dontrell and Kehlani sat in the front and Passanger seat while Aria sat in the back seat.
"Where this party even at?" Kehlani asks, setting her purse on the floor beside her feet. Dontrell pulled out his phone, and typed in the address. "It's in downtown Atl."
"Oh nah, you ain't say nothing about that what if something happens?" Aria complained. Dontrell turned towards the back of the car looking at her. "Ain't nothing gonna happen, just chill."Aria huffed and sat back in the seat. Dontrell sighed, looking over at Kehlani. She smiled at him, and look out the window, waiting for him to make his way towards the party.
Kehlani reached her hand out to turn on the radio. The song How many drinks by Miguel came on. Aria stared to snap her fingers in the backseat. "Ooh this my shit!" Dontrell laughed, turning towards the highway. "How many drinks will it take you to be with meee?" Aria sang loudly. Kehlani rolled her eyes, turning up the volume.
Aria sang through all the songs that came on, until they got to where the party was. Dontrell pulled into a parking space a little bit away from the party. "We here, and Aria I'm only gonna tell you once you better behave yourself." Aria smacked her lips. "Yes sir." She mumbled under her breath. She quickly stepped out of the car into the cool night air.
The music was loud enough for them to know that the party had already started awhile ago. Kehlani felt Aria grab her hand. "Ready to go?" She asked.
Kehlani nodded, as they all walked near the mansion.Kehlani and Aria's heels clicked loudly on the pavement as they made their way closer to the mansion. Kehlani looked up at the lights that came out of it. She knew that this party was no joke. There were famous rappers and artists in there, and she was just someone who was invited to be a bystander.
She bit the inside of her cheek, and glanced at Aria who was smiling from ear to ear. She scoffed at her oblivious friend as they neared the front door, which was already open.
Two well built men stood at each side of the door. One of them held out their hand towards Kehlani. "Identification?" He asked.
Kehlani looked at him like he was crazy. "What you mean identification?" The man didn't repeat himself and held out his hand closer towards her.
"Oh hell naw." Aria mumbled, as she pulled her arms up like she was about to hit the man.
