Callum POV
This morning, I was out on my own while others were minding their own business. I sat down and begin writing a letter for dad, about everything we've been through.
Callum: It feels like a lifetime since we left home...but its only a week. We left because we found something the world thought it was destroyed...the egg of the dragon prince! Ezran, YN, and I decided to take a dangerous journey across the world and carry this precious egg home to its mother in Xadia. Maybe then we can stop the war. Its been an amazing adventure. I'm even learning how to do magic! YN has been too, and he's starting to get better with his magic. Though it hasn't always been easy. In fact, its probably been the hardest thing we've ever done. But we haven't done it alone. We've been traveling with new friends, Eita, who is a sunfire elf and Rayla, who is a moonshadow elf. Nothing I believe about elves is true. Rayla is kind and good. She's fearless, fast, strong-
Rayla: And daring. Oh, so daring!
I look left and see Rayla standing next to me with her arms folded.
Callum: Hey, you just been standing there the whole time?
Rayla: (Scoff.) Don't let me interrupt.
???: Do proceed.
I look right and saw Eita sitting by the rock.
Callum: How long have you been there?
Eita: Eh, probably where you mentioned the egg part.
Rayla sat next to me while I was still holding my letter.
Rayla: Smiles. You were looking for another good word to describe me, right? Well, I consider myself quite daring.
Callum: Quite? Well, I'll be sure to tell my step dad how "Quite daring." You are.
Eita: Oh, can you how I'm always "fired up"?
Eita and I chuckle as Rayla ask curiously.
Rayla: You're writing a letter...to the king?
Callum: (Nods.) He'll be worried about us. It'll mean a lot to know why we left, and that we're doing okay.
I continue to write on the letter.
Callum: In journeys, there are always surprises. Things never go as you plan. We dropped the egg, and thought it was lost. But something incredible happened. Now, instead of carrying the egg to Xadia, we're taking care of someone new. The most powerful creature in the entire world. At least until we bring him back to his mother. And who knows, maybe we might find The Stone Tree clan on the way. Well, if they're still around.
YN: Hey guys.
We saw YN coming up the stair.
YN: Sorry to interrupt.
Callum: Its fine, I just finish the letter.
YN: For dad?
Callum: (Nods.)
YN: Oh uh right. Anyway, Lujanne told me to find you guys and let you know its time to eat.
Callum: All right, I'll be there in a sec.
Rayla: You guys can go on, I'll catch up soon.
I put my letter away before we all go together.
3rd POV
Soon everyone arrive and saw Lujanne.
Lujanne: (Smiles.) Come and get it, everyone.
She show them a table filled with food for everyone including for the animals.
