Hello,

I know a lot of you have been here since day one. Thank you for that. If you remember, I used to have a Trevor Zegras book called "It's You !" Then I renamed it "West Coast" and finally landed on the name "One and Only." I took it down because I was embarrassed about the story's writing and content. In honor of that book, I decided to rewrite it to be a long imagine. So, this is what that is. I hope you enjoy it.

As the school year ended, Autumn couldn't help her excitement about returning home to Michigan

As the school year ended, Autumn couldn't help her excitement about returning home to Michigan. It has been a long year, but Autumn strongly desired to go home.

Autumn was granted a scholarship to play ice hockey at a boarding school in Connecticut. So during the summer after her sophomore year, she said goodbye to everything and everyone she held dearly in Michigan to live out her dream of having the opportunity to be a part of Team USA's Women's Ice Hockey team.

It was a significant risk, but it was a risk Autumn was willing to take. Even if it meant having to break up with her boyfriend at the time. Her ex-boyfriend, Trevor Zegras, was heartbroken at the news of her transfer, but he understood simultaneously. Trevor understood because he, too, was taking any and every opportunity he received so he could become a professional hockey player. The two never wanted to admit to themselves and one another that their relationship was in the way of their futures. While Autumn wanted to try long-distance, Trevor was in disbelief she was leaving, so he broke up with her because she didn't want to deal with it.

Trevor and Autumn were a golden couple in the school. Both played ice hockey and were well-known prospects. The media was buzzing about their skills and how they predicted they would make it big. But, of course, being given such a massive amount of ego-boosting information isn't always the best thing to feed the two teenagers' minds. But they remained humble and tried to continue living like every other teenager in the United States.

Autumn has had a fantastic season this year, playing with her new school and all, but it wasn't the same as playing youth hockey with her twin brother, Alex. Autumn and Alex grew up in a household where hockey was all the family thought about and did. Everything the family did was for hockey, whether it be making meals so the family could watch hockey together during dinner, to devoting time during the holidays to make it to hockey tournaments. Although hockey was time-consuming, the Turcotte family didn't mind because, at the end of the day, they were still bonding and spending time with each other through their love and passion for the sport.

Autumn watched her suitcase begin to overflow due to the concerning amount of clothes the girl had. She was having trouble sorting through her clothes, but thankfully her roommate and best friend, Summer Howard, was helping the struggling girl in front of her. She even began keeping some clothing pieces Autumn no longer wanted.
