☆Y/N POV☆
"Hey! How was your-" my boyfriend, Cole, started before he saw the tears streaming down my face. "Hey, what's wrong?"
Cole pulled me into a tight hug, petting my head and playing with my hair. I sniffled and choked out, "It's just... Y/F/M/A is so amazing. Every time they sing, I just... I can't keep it in."
Cole chuckles slightly, continuing to stroke my hair. I stuffed my face in Cole's neck. We sat there for about five minutes.
"Do you want to listen to Y/F/M/A with me?" I asked softly with a giggle.
Cole smiles and nods his head, saying, "Of course."
We jammed out to Y/F/M/A for what seemed like years, but in reality, it was only a couple of hours. Our heads thrashed around; I thought one of us would get whiplash. I danced around my room, throwing my hands up in the air as I sang along.
Cole just laughed at me and began to whip his head back and forth, going along with the song's beat. Then, I felt hands grab mine, and we danced together.
Today was my birthday. I haven't seen Cole today, but he said he would come over in an hour. So I sat there on my bed listening to some music when I heard the door of my bedroom open. I looked up, and my eyes made contact with Cole.
"Hey," I smiled, standing up to give him a hug. He hugged back and held me in his arms tightly, snuggling his head into my neck.
"Happy Birthday, beautiful," Cole whispered in my ear.
I smiled widely into his chest, got on my tippy toes, and kissed his cheek before saying, "I love you, Cole."
Cole pulled back and looked at my face. That was the first time either of us had used those three words. I got nervous that Cole didn't feel the same way, so I shifted uncomfortably and looked at the floor.
Cole put his fingers under my chin, lifting my head up, so I was forced to look into his eyes, and he stared into my soul. His eyes shifted to look at my lips, then back up at my eyes.
He leaned in and gave me the most passionate kiss I've ever had. Our lips moved in sync, and I could taste the chapstick that he put on. We pulled back for air after a couple of seconds. Our foreheads touched, and I felt his hot breath against my skin, giving me goosebumps and butterflies in my stomach.
I looked up at Cole, our foreheads still touching. He looked into my eyes and smiled.
"I love you so much, Y/N/N."
I bit my lip, trying to prevent the wide smile I wanted to show. Cole smiled too and leaned into peck my lips.
"Okay, I have a huge surprise for you," Cole said with a smile, pulling me to my bed and sitting me down.
I sat with my legs crossed and hands in my lap, looking up at Cole, who was about to sit right in front of me. Instead, he jumped in front of me, trying to get comfy. He held one of his hands out and covered my eyes.
"What is going on?" I question, giggling.
I heard the crumbling of paper and rustling noises coming from my bed as he tried to get comfortable. Then, I heard Cole's soft voice.
"Put your hands out," he said.
I obeyed and held my hands out. I felt Cole place an item in my hand, and I moved my fingers around to feel what it was. It had the texture of an envelope. He probably just got me a card or something. Not complaining because I am already gifted with his presence.
I felt Cole remove his hands from my eyes, and I looked down to see an envelope. I open the envelope to reveal a card. I smile and read the outside of the card. As I opened the card, something fell out of it. I picked up the paper that fell out of the card. I looked closely at the document and began screaming when I realized the paper's content.
"You did not!" I shout with the biggest smile spread across my face. Cole just laughed and nodded his head.
I squealed and gave him a huge hug. I continually whispered "I love you" into his ear. I smiled down at the two tickets for a Y/F/M/A's concert. I felt tears well up in my eyes.
"Hey, why are you crying?" Cole asked, wiping the tears off my cheeks.
"I'm just so happy," I smile through my tears, chuckling a little. "You make me so happy."
