TRICIA'S POV
It is such a joy waking up next to the people I love the most. No video calls for two weeks. Such a relief!
They are both sleeping soundly. Mukhang pagod na pagod sa byahe. I move quietly as I don't want to wake them up yet. I was just about to get out of bed when Carmelo begins to move.
He greeted me with a huge smile on his face.
"Good Morning, my love."
Ugh!His bedroom voice is such a melody to me.
I walk to his side of the bed to kiss him.
"Good Morning, love. Sleep some more. What do you want for breakfast? I'll cook."
"Hmm. If you're part of the choices then I chose you for breakfast."
"You still have energy left in your tank, do you?"
He nods. "Recharged!"
"You are not lucky this morning. I am not part of the choices for breakfast but I can be dinner, maybe?"
He laugh and then kiss me back. I stare down at him for a minute.
"Yes, love? Baka matunaw ako sa mga titig mo."
"Ang gwapo mo naman. Sa akin ka lang ha?"
He smiled and nodded. "Sayong sayo lang."
I kiss him one more time and then left to cook breakfast.

We decided to visit Jill in New York. She's been bugging me ng malaman niyang nandito si Carys.
"Are you still doubting him?"
Tanong ni Jill habang pinapanood namin si Carmelo at Carys na nag lalaro sa park.
I was caught off guard.
"I am not doubting him. Natatakot ako, Jill. Mag kaiba 'yon."
I have been very open with her tungkol sa nararamdaman ko. I was hesistant to go back to school at first. Mainly because ayaw kong may malampasan sa milestones ng anak ko. But Jill is insisting na iniisip ko na baka matulad ako sa nangyari kay Ate Aika at kay Geoff.
"Pareho lang 'yon, girl. Ayaw mo lang aminin sa sarili mo. You have to trust him. Iba yung sayo. Iba yung kay Ate Aika. Iba si Geoff at iba rin si Carmelo."
"I trust him. I really do. Pero hindi rin mawala sa isip ko na mag alala. Ate Aiks and Geoff were so in love. Pero what happened? Geoff still cheated."
Jill has a point naman. Pero ewan ko ba, ganito siguro yung nararamdaman ko because malayo ako sakanila.
"Alam mo Ate Trish, tigilan mo yang kapraningan mo. Baka maghihiwalay kayo hindi dahil sa babae. Baka maghihiwalay kayo dahil diyan sa kapraningan mo."
T'was good 24hrs in New York for us.
"Bye Ninang Jill, we'll see you again on April."
We wave Jill goodbye and headed back to Boston. I still have one week to enjoy this family time. In between school and work ofcourse.
